thank you to everyone who sent words!!! (bold & italicized) this is the SWEET portion of the vampire prompts, and while the main goal was stuffing, a lot of these also wound up involving bellyaches. where there are bellyaches, though, there's plenty of room for care & comfort👏
🧛 Your character is a super cool badass vampire--or, at least, that's what they want people to think. They don't want to look silly or seem vulnerable, but they often can't help it, and the locals they "terrorize" find it endearing. One night, somebody spots your vampire stumbling home after hunting, looking a little queasy. When asked if they're alright, they try to suavely conceal themself with their cape, but not even the billowing black cloth can hide the curve of their achingly swollen tummy.
🎂 Your character is a vampire who's befriended a human. The human is the first person in centuries to care about your vampire's birthday, and they offer to bake them a cake. Your character accepts, touched by the gesture and not wanting to hurt their new friend's feelings, but there's one problem: they can't eat regular food! They try to hide this fact, wanting to show their appreciation for their friend's kindness, but when they're left with a bloated, upset belly, their lies are exposed. Luckily, they have a kind friend who's willing to take care of them.
🍬 Your character is a human who is willing to let a vampire drink from them. In preparation, the vampire stuffs your character full of all sorts of sweet things, fresh baked treats topped with crystalline sugar and ornate handcrafted candies, rich ice cream drizzled with ribbons of caramel and crisp, delicate cookies, all to make their blood taste sweeter. By the time the vampire is ready to drink, your character is absolutely stuffed and on the verge of a bellyache, but the vampire takes care to tend to their sugar-filled tummy after they're done.
🦇 Your character is a vampire coming home from a long night of hunting. Their belly is nice and full, but they make the foolish mistake of turning into a bat to fly home. Suddenly that bellyful of blood feels far bigger and heavier, and it's a difficult flight, their distended tummy bouncing and sloshing all the way back. They're thoroughly winded by the time they get back on their feet, and it's time for them to get cozy and lay down to sleep off the big meal, rubbing their sore tummy until they finally doze off.
🍲 Your character is the human friend/partner of a vampire. They let the vampire drink from them as often as they're able, and the vampire always takes good care of them. They make sure to have your character bulk up with lots of hearty food beforehand to ensure that they're good and nourished, and then they feed them well again after drinking to make up for the lost blood. The goal was to make sure the vampire eats well, but the human always winds up being far more stuffed.
🫖 Your character is a hungry vampire who can't remember their last good meal. They're weak and miserable, trudging along trying to figure out how they're going to get something to eat, when a human spots them. They realize what your character is right away, but they aren't afraid. Instead, they take pity on them, inviting them inside for a meal. They remark how cold your vampire feels to the touch, but once they drink, a bellyful of hot blood begins to warm them up from the inside out.
