when sylus gets asked questions about his girlfriend, there wouldn’t be any specific answer he’d give them, it would rather be the same broad answers.

but when a colleague asked him, “what’s one part of your girlfriend you love the most” sylus would think about it, well, pretend to think about it, hard.

one part? he loves? that’s impossible to answer.

cause he loves every part of you.

“i love every part of her.” he answers with full confidence, but the colleague wouldn’t buy it.

“c’monn nothing specific? her hands? thighs? lips? ass-”

a menacing glare shot right through the colleague and he zipped his mouth immediately. but as the conversation started to switch and sylus started to get bored, the question still lingered in his mind.

he drove home a little quicker than usual, he didn’t even put his helmet on either, all he needed to do was see you.

when he headed home you were peacefully sitting on the couch and sylus didn’t even bother taking off his shoes before pouncing on you.

the question started to grow louder in his mind.

‘c’monn nothing specific? her hands?’

sylus traced a soft pattern on your arms, staring at your delicate skin before slowly snaking his warm, rough fingertips up to your hands and interlocked his fingers with yours.

perfect.

‘thighs?’

sylus glanced down at your bare thighs, staring at the light goosebumps scattered all over your skin. he brought his free hand to your plush thigh, grabbing onto it and squeezed it tight.

‘lips?’

sylus lightly bit on his bottom lip, eyes gleaming desperately at your pursed lips, a light smile creeping up on them before you giggle and ask him what’s wrong.

and the same spark that he felt admiring your other body parts went right through him a third time. he leaned in and pressed his lips on yours.

still holding onto every other part of your body because there is no correct answer to the question, he loves every part of you equally and wouldn’t even bother choosing a ‘specific’ part to love the most.

You're in the kitchen, trying to prepare breakfast. You appreciate Sylus's help, and you love him for all that he's done, but you wanna feel at least a little useful and competent still. You're pregnant, not completely incapable

You manage to get something together when he finds you. Hugging you from behind, resting his chin in the crook of your shoulder, nuzzling his nose against your jaw and cheek with a rumbling, "Good morning, beloved."

You turn your head to give him a good morning kiss, groaning into it in annoyance. "My back hurts, Sy," you whine. "I swear they weigh as much as you."

He chuckles, kisses your cheek. "Let me help."

You give him a confused look, but you always trust him. Sylus has been looking up a lot of tips and videos for helping his pregnant darling, without telling you, of course, for moments like this when he gets to put what he's seen into action to help you like some suave superhero

He has to bend by his knees a bit to reach your height. Supports your belly from underneath with both hands. And lifts you back against him, all weight taken off your back as he effectively holds up all the weight of your belly for you

The effect is immediate. He smiles as he watches your eyes roll back, flutter shut, as your head falls back against his chest with a relieved sigh. Food is forgotten as you completely succumb to the feeling, arms slack and brain empty

You can feel his smile when he kisses your head. "Better?"

You nod dumbly, humming. "How long can you hold me up?" you murmur

"As long as you need me to."

"Then you're stuck here for a while."

this is so so wrong. fucking your boss, sylus, in his office? yeah, very unprofessional.

you shouldn’t be here. shouldn’t be sprawled across his desk with your legs over his shoulders, your pencil skirt hiked up and shirt unbuttoned just enough to reveal your cleavage. he shouldn’t be gripping your thighs hard, enough to leave a few bruises the next day. he shouldn’t be drilling into you like he’s been waiting for years to do it, tip kissing your cervix with every thrust.

the desk rocks under you, papers and pens scattered across the surface, some even being swept off onto the floor. it’s hard against your back, uncomfortable, but the overwhelming pressure at your core, the way he fills you to the brim, makes you feel numb. taking your mind off everything and suddenly you don’t care what’s right and what’s wrong.

sylus breathes heavily above you, his glasses slowly slipping down the bridge of his nose — the same glasses you admire through his office window. his hips never falter, snapping against your own. he was so big, thick, stretching you wide and deep. and you’d be lying if you said you didn’t have any assumptions about your boss. but, god, he definitely exceeded your expectations.

❥ you’re his mate, but you’re also human. his habits weird you out!

❥ he licks you! you could be sitting on the couch, minding your own business with a book in hand and sylus would come up right next to you and just start licking your cheek. you’d retract suddenly and look him up and down with a strange look on your face.

“what? i already explained this to you kitten.”

licking is his way of showing affection toward you. it’s supposed to tell you “i’m here to protect you” in a way. he also just loves tasting your skin and becoming more familiar with you since it brings him so much comfort. he’ll even lick your hair if he’s really getting into it!

❥ he feeds you really well. hungry? no you’re not, not with him at least. he’ll feed you until you’re completely and utterly satiated from his meals. when he sees you happy and drowsy from a full stomach it brings him very deep satisfaction.

sometimes he’ll put bags of snacks or containers of food where you frequent in hopes you’ll eat them. if you don’t, he’ll take offense or think he did something wrong and now you’re protesting!

❥ he makes you wear his treasures. part of being a dragon means hoarding pretty and shiny things. dragons are very protective and territorial about their things, but sylus makes an exception for you. he insists that you wear the jewels he’s collected and will drown you in his riches.

he especially loves it when you go out into public with his treasures on because it shows off his wealth via his beautiful mate. he’ll designate certain jewels or items just for you and if you’re even a little bit dissatisfied with them, he’ll throw them out right away.

❥ he builds nests for you. sylus will innocently steal your most precious items or the items that seem to bring you the most comfort and then bring them to an empty corner. it’s here that he piles up your cosmetics, clothes, bedsheets, pillows, stuffies—anything you could think of—and then he waits.

sylus would never force you to do anything, he wants you to come to the nest on your own volition without his input. he won’t even mention it, he’ll just wait until you find the nest and watch from afar what you do. if you finally do decide to nestle in, he’ll jump for joy knowing that you like it. he’ll also never come into your nest unless you ask him to, and if you do, let’s just say he’ll take care of you really well.

❥ he purrs, and really loudly too. you’ll hear him purring when you’re cuddling, when you’re eating, when you’re bathing, during sex, when you’re doing anything, really. dragons only purr when extremely content but sylus makes a habit out of it when he’s around you. the man is just very happy.

the sound of his purrs come from a deep place within his chest, making them loud and deep. even though they may startle you sometimes, the frequency and vibrancy brings you a sense of comfort and peace, and sylus knows this. whenever you’re upset or anxious, he’ll start purring loudly in hopes of calming you down.

❥ he walks around naked. of course, sylus only does this with you, but it never fails to catch you off guard. it’s not so much a sexual thing, per se, but more of a comfort thing. he’s so comfortable with your presence that he doesn’t feel the need to keep his tight, itchy clothes on when he’s alone with you. he’ll let everything hang and jiggle if he so calls for it.

although, there are times where he’ll purposefully walk around naked to seduce you like a peacock would. he thinks flaunting off his assets will make you want to pounce on him and make love to him all night—which is unfortunately true.

❥ he watches you while you sleep. at first it was cute, but when you awoke one night to his vibrant red eyes staring you down in the dark, it started to feel a little creepy. he explains it away by saying he needs to make sure you’re okay, which doesn’t really make much sense to you since you were in his secure territory.

because sylus doesn’t need much sleep, whenever you take your beauty rest, he feels the urge to look after you and your vulnerable form. he also just enjoys watching you do something so silly and human-like sleeping. this was one of your habits that he didn’t understand. he does finally back off a little bit after your complaining, though.

❥ he has a wild tail. sylus has full control over all of his body parts at any give time, so his tail is always indicative of how he’s feeling. he has a rather calm tail when you two are around others, but when alone with you? you have to dodge it sometimes from how erratic it is. he explains that it’s the equivalent of how your leg bounces. something you don’t even think about when it happens, but can have control over once you realize it.

Now as an adult, gifts and caring words are offerings showered to appease him, lavish items and antiques are sent to him just to get the big bad leader of Onichynus on their side. Gifts out of fear, like placing a golden goblet before a dragon hoping he doesn't breathe down on them.

So it's obvious that he's never expected anyone to pay for him. The concept is so arbitrary to him, that he doesn't know how to react when you do.

It's a small thing for you. It happens very early on in the relationship when you were waiting for him at the Linkon market. Your eye happens to catch the stall selling squid-ink ice creams. 'Not worth the price' that's what Tara had said, but the contrast of the black ice-cream and the orange-red gummies reminded you of a specific someone so much that you end up buying two.

"There you go! this one's yours!" You said handing him the cone, it spelled out his alias 'skye' in mini gummies, which he could already tell you found hilarious.

You just handed him the ice-cream and then you were on to something else, but for him the moment stilled. That's the first time someone's given him something just because. No exchange, no expectation, no fear.

It felt... nice? Once the initial shock of it wears out, he waits for you to turn around and cheekily ask him to pay the vendor, but you just don't, already skipping away, your eyes set on something else entirely.

He stares at the stupid overpriced ice-cream in his hands, sloppily spelling out 'skye', as his lips tweak in a smile. It leaks onto his wrist under the humid Linkon sun and he licks it off, cringing a little at the taste. But he'll gobble it up, not a crumb left and the freebie napkin folded neatly and tucked into his pocket for a keepsake.
