Recurring alternate world. In some kind of large building, lot of hard edge concrete, plants and wood. Like if the Oldest House has old mansion bits mixed around.
I keep finding myself here, I see people I know or know of. We don't interact much, I'm trying to do something but I don't know what
I'm pulled into a social interaction that I don't want to be in. I'm trying not to engage.
A tall thin girl with long hair looks nervous. She moves to be closer to me, almost hiding from the group behind me. I don't say anything but I'm happy to help
Later I'm standing in a hallway and she approaches me again. She doesn't say anything, she blushes and looks shy. She looks over her shoulder nervously.
I take her hand and wake up
I think that was her (robot).
I was on a rope bridge over a river right before the incline changed and it turned to rapids. I was supposed to be watching a crew string a net across the water and lower ropes to help. I didn't know what I was doing and was up there for a while, I dropped a few things that the net luckily caught.
This went on for a really long time
I got to hug -green-
Most of my family has gotten together for whatever reason and I made it to the event. It was at night in someone's apartment, the event didn't seem planned. It was nice to see everyone.
I was packed up and ready to go back out to work the next day. I was home and I didn't want to roll out. -green- was there and thanked me for coming by. She stretched out her arms for a hug. I went in low and picked her up, she held on, squeezed back and giggled. She smelled nice and I didn't want to put her down.
Later, I was moving bags out to the truck when my dad told me not to forget the cat. I guess I have a truck cat in this one. I picked up a fluffy docile cat who seemed happy to be held until we got to the door. I pulled back and wondered if I really should bring this little friend into this.
Later, I was in a large rest area convenience store. Half was being renovated, the other half was disorganized. The coffee area looked new so I just made a cup. The checkout counter was huge but only had one cashier. He got mad at me for coming to his counter, as the coffee I had needed to be rung up at the other side because it was a different company. There was nobody at the other side.
Walking into some sort of job fair / convention thing. Seeing seems to be a college or similar building. It's kind of crowded.
Walking and talking with the Rabbit. We're here to do some kind of voice work.
She asks why I've never done any 18+ VA work. She says I have this cool voice and I'm holding out. I tell her I'm interested but haven't gotten any scripts for it that I liked.
She got really excited and started pulling me across the room towards a large stairwell. "I think we can fill our stuff out downstairs away from everyone else" she says.
We chat a little about voice work on the stairs before we get to a food court. I wake up while we're figuring out if we want anything here

Idk, it's blurry and vague but I distinctly remember hanging out with the Moths, someone pointing out how tall I am and suddenly getting taller.
I don't know who I was talking to but they brought up a former co-worker / old very close friend. I said we used to be close and for some reason they decided to check if we were still friends in Facebook. They couldn't verify it and I got really insecure about it and spent a long time with a bad Internet connection trying to find her.
Plot twist, she's married and this other person didn't know her new last name.
Also at some point we were walking through some kind of mall that was turned into studios and I saw another old lady friend apparently auditioning for a news show. At the first pass she was on camera running through a news story. Second time I walked by she was sitting to the side waiting for something. She looked absolutely gorgeous.
It's just blank. Weeks of nothing, my watch says I'm getting some good REM in at least a few nights a week but dreams don't happen like they used to. The best I can do is say that I had a couple mornings where I got to lay for an hour in that in-between state where I can fantasize more vividly and imagine that I'm not laying there alone without snapping right out of it. Those are nice but that's not what I like to write about here
I bought some kind of military vehicle for my daily. It was kind of like one of those Stewart and Stevenson cabover things but with a more modern Humvee interior and a van like cabin.
Also my friend bought a different but functionally similar vehicle. His seemed like more of an APC that sat a little lower.
We haven't talked in a while so this was a neat coincidence. Hanging out at the gas station with these things was cool
I had the runaway truck thing again. Jumped out of bed and yanked on my e brake, then slammed the service brake when it didn't work.
After that I was woken up by a thunderstorm. I was keenly aware that I wasn't near anything to break the wind so I was rocking around pretty hard. I also didn't have a trailer which felt bad. I like having another set of wheels anchoring me to the ground.
Then a dream(?) Happened. Rare in this truck. It felt like I woke up to more strange noises outside. Someone or something was trying to get into my truck. It messed around at the back of my cab, tried the doors, then seemed to pick at the hatches on the side under my bunk. Those don't open from the outside but it felt like it still got in somehow. No evidence of this the next morning.

I've been waking up confused more. I feel like I'm being watched, or sometimes that the truck started moving by itself. Once I felt the need to put my jeans back on and go back to bed.
This better be a stress thing and not a symptom of something
I just dreamed that I was back at the terminal at work and my company gave me a 5g hotspot for the truck.
Fucking what. I used to dream about cool and interesting stuff like being chased through the void or my ex talking to me again.
Sometimes I have a nice apartment in dreams. Like, really nice. Probably a loft, high ceilings, nice wood work. Really open living area and a wood vertical element, like it's going up a hill.
I can half remember a dream where I was hanging out with a model I used to talk to in Florida at this apartment. Two friends - An engaged couple - visited and she freaked out like I was about to get caught cheating. Neat to know that's where she thought things were going
I had powered skates. The kind of powered that can get to highway speeds.
I was in North Jersey for unknown reasons skating in traffic. Started pushing the speed on an on ramp to go on the highway and started losing grip. Had to do a cool wall ride move to clear it.
No plot, just neat
In some kind of restaurant or hotel, dark marble with lighter wood accenting everywhere. Kind of looks like an architectural student's render of a place that never gets built.
Go to bathroom, very normal experience.
Leave and hear arguing about inclusion, they plan to install a third gender neutral bathroom. Some are against it for unspecified reasons. Recognize some as people I've argued with before. People who think everything is a personal attack or goes against God or whatever.
Bathroom gets installed. One of the opposition tries to pull me into the argument. I dodge it and make a statement by going into the new bathroom.
Notice immediately that it's significantly worse than the men's room. Way smaller, one toilet, weird sink position, low ceiling / poor light.
Think "of course they half assed this one"

Green
Setting is another large campus that's like a convention center, University and or some kind of resort. I think I'm on vacation with M / B and an online personality that I really like with green hair.
We're walking through this place and M seems to have taken the lead, I think he's been here before. We have dinner somewhere and hang out. Dinner is nice but uneventful (possible dream memory loss) and it seemed like we all hung out. Pretty normal restaurant for a place like this, like a Friday's or something.
Leave restaurant and keep walking. Sun is down, crowd has thinned a bit and the streetlights are on. Pass shops, a book store and a lot of little parks separated by the harsh concrete that makes up the walkways and holds the landscaping together.
Find an interesting pool in one of the walls near a large building that wasn't labeled with any business from where we were. Convention center? This pool was set into the wall with one side made of glass facing out to the walkway. It was narrow and seemed to be it's own little path with seating in the concrete along the back side. Like a lounge area.
Green said she tried to hang out there before but got pushed out by a bigger group. Said she was just trying to read a book. Said she can read in a spot all day if nobody stops her. I think that I'd like to come back here with her and try that.
M says there's a bigger indoor pool area nearby with a similar lounge setup. We start to head that way to check it out when I wake up.

I really like green even if it's absolutely one sided. I really liked hanging out with her there and wish I had more to say and do there. Even still, I woke up in the middle and managed to get back into this one.
Not a dream, but I'm a truck driver now and I sleep in my truck most nights. Almost every night I wake up to the truck starting (it's supposed to) and feeling like I'm moving and freaking out that it's out of control.
Can't sleep enough to dream like this..
