This is Kareem “Biggs” Burke and Roc96′s recreation of “Studio B” at D&D Studios, where Jaÿ-Z’s classic debut album Reasonable Doubt was recorded. The soundboard is the exact one used during the recording sessions. The set-up can be viewed at their “RD20″ pop-up store in New York over the next four days.

The Dream Team…

Jay-Z, Bill Clinton and head coach Mike Jarvis with members of the St. John’s University Red Storm basketball team in March 2000. The team had been crowned the Big East Tournament Champions moments earlier, with the games being played at the Madison Square Garden in New York.

Jay Z recently commissioned his jeweler Gabriel Jacobs of Rafaello & Co. to make these miniature Roc-A-Fella Records pieces for his and Beyoncé’s daughter Blue Ivy Carter.
