Welcome to Los Angeles Coffee where we talk about Los Angeles and Coffee.
We started this blog as a project to express our liking for the Los Angeles Area.
I’m Sean. I’m a digital marketing entrepreneur from Alhambra, CA and I drink Coffee every day. My team who is involved in this project with me, (and by involved I mean fairly enthusiastic to participate in my coffee blog project,) are all from the LA area as well.
We’re not all digital marketers but we are all entrepreneurs in some form. Together we created an agency dedicated to helping local small businesses in the community grow.
Check out our digital marketing agency on Instagram and Facebook: KyorTech Inc.
But before you go do that, here’s a short 3 min read about coffee and the city of Los Angeles.
Coffee in Los Angeles. Is it easy to find? Are there really coffee shops on every corner? Am I supposed to order from a coffee shop or a cafe? Do you ask yourselves these questions? I've lived in the Los Angeles Area for the majority of my life. I've been drinking coffee for maybe 10 or 11 years, and I've been drinking coffee black for the last 4 or 5 years. Currently I live in Alhambra which is about 7.7 miles Northeast of Downtown LA. My appartment is 1.3 miles from the city of Los Angeles. But the City of Los Angeles is pretty big and awkwardly shaped. So if you need a geography lesson take a geography lesson, or look at google maps and you can see LA and the surrounding area. This blog is not about geography however, but about every single coffee shop and cafe myself and my team can find and try. If you live in the Los Angeles area and love to drink coffee, or if you are just visiting, looking for places to take coffee pictures for tumblr and instagram; this blog will attempt to cover and document every imaginable, accessible coffee shop or cafe able to be located and visited in the Los Angeles area. We will start this journey of visiting coffee shops and cafes all around the LA area in an effort to share the experience and culture of our community. I'm probably not the wisest of coffee experts nor am I the most qualified of coffee connoisseurs, but I drink coffee (mainly 4 shots of espresso over ice) every day, and I'm going to try 4 shots of espresso over ice among other drinks at every coffee shop in Los Angeles. I'll judge each of the coffee shops based on taste and quality using a 10 point ranking system. Starbucks will measure the basline rank at 5. Anything better than starbucks will receive a 6 or higher and anything that isn't as good will receive a 4 or lower. Read this blog if you want to discover more about coffee shops and cafe's in the LA area. Join us on our journey as we explore the city, discover Los Angeles and discover coffee.
