Dib walked into the apartment holding two medium boxes, cracks ran down the mucus green walls, along with some odd stains. He groaned in disgust, placing the boxes on the floors, he rubbed his beard, it had been, what, ten years since he stopped talking to Gaz? He didn't want to think about, at least not with a bottle of alcohol in his hand.

He sat down on his bed, placing his coat on the bed post. He'd barely gotten a steady-paying job... At a run-down restaurant... But it was better than having no money at all. He laid down, pulling the cheap wool blanket over himself as he rolled over, wishing for the next day of his miserable life.
