“It’s understandable,” Lugia couldn’t help but feel bad. Gira had it waaay harder than him. Sure he lost a tower, but the guardian eventually learned to accept what happened. That’s not saying he forgives faith for what happened to his niece and nephews. But he was bless to have a brother like Ho-Oh to revive the trio. “What about the method of trying to look forward to the happiness that your loved ones give when everything turns to hell? Life wouldn’t be what it is if it constantly stayed at one point.”

“You have to remember: can’t expect life to be on a never-ending uphill climb. Course you’d know that, so cherish times that life is good to you. Use it to fall back on when your dark clouds loom over you. Nothing wrong with being protectively cautious for yourself.”

“Hey, there you go! Doesn’t it seem better when you say it out loud? I’m not saying that to treat you like a child. There are some things that are better to accept vocally, over mentally. Life is getting the break you deserve. Your very own recovery is starting. Not saying it hasn’t since you’ve met everyone.”

“I wouldn’t say surprising. More of... Relief? You’ve been through a lot of hardship, so seeing that you’ve found a partner is a good sign to those who value you.”

“Well aren’t you just a little love bug.” Lugia, no, that’s dangerous.

“Hmmm.. Yup, I could go for a drink.” Queue the birb rummaging through some sake bottles. “Haven’t had one of these in a longgg while.” 

“Weenie or not-- ack, no I have not! My kids haven’t really shown the side of even remotely liking someone to that degree!” Either he hasn’t notice it, or his kids are hiding some things from him.

“... You know, I can live with that.” You win this round.

“Alright, alright!” Lugia flashed him a positive thumbs up. “Aren’t you glad that I’m around? What would you do with me?” You could almost feel the rays of positivity shining off of him.

Lugia is just standing there, tapping his foot. Not sure if he even wants to ask at this point.

“I mean--Well!... Uh, you know what, fair eno-- ACTUALLY HOLD ON.” There was suddenly more questions that risen. “How did you figure it all out?!

“Now that sounds like a good plan to me! Wh-- What’s that look for?” He couldn’t help but laugh happily. A good voice of advice that Ho-Oh actually took from Lugia. What is even happening right now?

“Welcome to the weenie club. As given by yours truly...” Sadly motions to Gira.

“No! Of course not! I’m just surprised you didn’t ask me about it..!”
