Pico Mundo wasn't exactly the most exciting town, but Stormy had called it home. But, she had found the chance to get out of the dry scorching Southern California heat only to get into the wet humid heat of New Orleans.

Marti Gras.

That was her goal. She had saved up enough money to venture to the home of all the witchy woo her uncle had always warned her about. Being the niece and foster child of a priest always out a damper on her adventures.

Odd: We are okay.

Stormy: We're weird and screwed-up, but we're okay.

Odd: If someone invented a thermometer that measured weirdness, it would met under my tongue. But you- you're cool.

Stormy: So you deny me my weirdness but agree that I'm screwed-up.

Odd: I see your problem. Certain kinds of weirdness can be hip, but screwed-upness never is.

Stormy: Exactly.

Odd: It wasn't gentlemanly of me to deny you your weirdness.
