I have SOOO MANY art inspos, I’m inspired by so many random artists on tumblr and TikTok, as well as so many of my artist friends…I HAVE SOME SPECIFIC PEOPLE IN MIND THAT INSPIRE ME A TON THOUGH THAT I WILL LIST AND SHOW SOME OF THEIR ART AT THE BOTTOM!!!

Ok first up!! @/velinxi on insta!! Her art is so beautiful and has literally been one of my biggest inspirations since freshman year of high school. Her compositions, rendering style, and the way she draws people with so much emotion and it looks so natural and fluid - AHHH I could glaze her all day every single post she does is so inspiring to me

NEXXTTT is @/hummingfluff, she runs a webcomic called journey upstream that’s super gorgeous but the way I know her is through her webcomic Stand Still Stay Silent which I am OBSESSED WITH!!! AND REALLY RECOMMEND!!!! But I just think it’s soooo cool the way she composes panels and how she can literally draw from any angle. Like. Uggh. SHES SOO GOOD I ASPIRE TO REACH THIS LEVEL OF SKILL

NEXT IS ALL TJE OFFICIAL ART FROM THE HADES GAME which mostly came from the art director, Jen Zee, who I’m not sure has a social media she’s active on rip. THE CHARAVTER ART FOR THIS GAME IS GENUINELY BREATHTAKING. The lineart. The posing. The coloring. Yum. This really inspired my inking style a lot and I’ve studied how she draws faces a couple times…..gaahhhh it’s so beautiful and a wonderful game

AND FINALLY. Probably my main inspo at the moment!! Kamome Shirahama, the author of the manga (and now anime!!!!) Witch Hat Atelier!!!! Genuinely everything about her art is so inspiring, but I am especially enamored and inspired by the way she composes her art, panels, and the way she draws clothing/folds. I’ve done like a million studies of the manga art I AM LITERALLY SO OBSESSED WITH IT. It’s such a beautiful story too….everyone go read witch hat atelier u will not regret #shamelesspromotion

'This'll be a quick doodle'- *7 hours later*. I feel like should've gone with a Honda Civic, would've been more recognisable and easier to even fit in the frame (even then I'm not good at drawing cars.)

The alternative was his consciousness getting sucked into a computer, but I flipped a coin and this one was first to 5. Had to finish this at the library, quite glad I downloaded Ellis's refs before Telstra happened. Have a good one!

Ok but on another note I was thinking of posting stuff from other fandoms! I’d probably be a lot more consistent that way, too😭 lmk if I should like not do that. Idk I don’t wanna flood ppls feeds with stuff they don’t wanna see, but I will probably still post a lot of splatoon stuff! The hyperfixation is not gone, trust 🙏
