Looking at You Sideways

After reading all the Bridgerton books and realizing that Daphne and Simon have the most boring romance/story out of the whole series.... I am SO excited for future seasons :) especially Anthony/Kate and Francesca/Michael

Yessss! Out of all the Bridgerton romances they are absolutely my least favorite. I love Anthony/Kate and Francesca/Michael. I know no one ever mentions Gregory and Lucy but I love those crazy baby making machines as well. 

#of all the ridiculous bullshit that came out of this season…#“the starks are xenophobic maga members” is UP THERE man! it is fucking UP! THERE!#the entire stark family has spent damn near the entire series being punished for trusting and believing in “the wrong people”#asking them to forget literally all their trauma bc another monarch has rolled up is…#idek if there is a word for what that is#ALL of the starks have been given PLENTY of reasons to view potential rulers with a discerning eye#and now that they aren’t pawns anymore… they are going to protect themselves and each other#and i just don’t get where tf this expectation of automatic deference comes from#especially when all of the starks have been betrayed time and time again by people who they thought they could trust#all the starks have understandable and deep seated trust issues#you can’t jsut completely disregard that bc… like… you wanna bc it benefits your fave#and the idea that having trust issues makes the starks “ooc” is sut as ridiculous#unmeditated deference and unquestioning loyalty are not requirements or pre-requisites to the values#like honorableness and justice ect. and so forth that the starks hold so dear#the idea that it somehow makes them unlikable or unsympathetic#is totally and completely at odds with their narrative journeys and character arcs#NONE of the starks were being ooc in their interactions with another self declared potential monarch this season#they are FINALLY in positions where they don’t have to act submissively to stay alive#and can FINALLY exercise some agency#and they did it pretty minimally imho… it could have been far more aggressive#they could have for example: refused to kneel and obey dany even though jon had already sworn to her#sound familiar?! IT SHOULD! bc it’s EXACTLY what robb did after ned swore to stannis before he was beheaded#and ya know when robb did that i can’t rightly recall anyone calling HIM xenophobic or a maga supporter… SO ODD!#people all the sudden bending over backwards to make the starks look unsympathetic for being untrusting is SO TRANSPARENT!#the starks weren’t ~ruined~ bc they didn’t act like some wanted or for some reason expected them to act#to take away their agency is jsut turning them into pawns again when their road away from that has been SO LONG AND HARD#LET THEM ACT LIKE THE GD WOLVES THEY ARE!#house stark#asoiaf for ts#got for ts (via @goodqueenalys) 

What’s really annoying is Rafael pulled the “I have nobody :(” card when they were fighting over Petra. Like…. he’s the reason for that… he pushes people away and is quick to anger. He brought up not having his sister but like… who got mad at her when she was trying to explain that it was black-out drunk, pre getting better Luisa that signed the papers?

Is this a joke? Please tell me it’s a joke. Yes it’s Rafael’s fault his dad is dead and so is his fake mother. His fault his best friend had an affair with his wife and then ended up getting killed by her. His fault his brother ended up being a criminal too and ended up being killed. His fault Luisa is such a reliable person and safe to have around his kids. Like wow if you had one word to describe Luisa it would be reliable, and the second word would be trustworthy. Shame on Rafael for not having anyone. I would totally keep a person around me who constantly runs back to my father’s murderer and son’s kidnapper. Rafael why are you so annoying?!
