it’s actually so fun going into exhibit meetings at my job where my boss just lets us all come up w the concepts instead of steamrolling the entire vision bc we always come up with the most banana bonkers ideas like never did i think id be able to sit in a room full of neurodivergent people and be like what if we world build and staged our puppet collection within labor and domestic situations identical to rust belt city histories and it’s a political and social commentary about work-life balance under capitalism and gross economic divide between class but the puppets are from like… our instituional archives from years past children storytime programs and everyone’s like yeah i can see it perfectly also we have all these books we can pair with it
