❝Uh… Hi? Are you—are you okay?❞ Haku hesitantly calls out, seeing nothing but the top of a head of messy, pale hair peeking from behind the alleyway’s power transformer.

And it’s not like he HEARS anything particularly alarming, but… Seeing someone, crouching in an alley has seldom ever meant anything good.

As concerned as he is, Haku makes the immediate decision NOT to get any closer.

   In a world of heroes (a.k.a. a world FULL of SELF RIGHTEOUS ASSHOLES ) No one could EVER just keep to themselves could they ? An ear seeming to twitch out of pure ANNOYANCE. This was the last thing he both didn’t NEED or WANT ....especially after a mugging gone WRONG. He finishes wrapping the bandage around his WOUNDED arm & stands up, faintly wincing as he does so.    He twirls to face the stranger. He takes a small moment to examined the other. A scoff exhales through his lips.  WORTHLESS. There’s no way there was anything of VALUE on him.

     HER LIPS WERE A MATCH SPARKING A FOREIGN SENSATION THAT BURNS WITHIN HIS CHEST & a fire to match upon his cheeks. A single hand rises to rest a palm where pulpy lips once lingered. He struggles to FIGHT back the SMILE that’s threatening to take over his demeanor. With A twitch of his left ear, he huffs. He stopped questioning the reasoning behind her actions a good amount of time ago now……….& He’s trying not to find one for this one yet he finds his mind still WONDERING.Oh how heHATED the mind.

   The ONE name that without FAIL made his gut TWIST with the utmost feeling of BITTERSWEET. A day couldn’t pass without her crossing his mind. Even though shes GONE , her presence was very much ALIVE.  She’s somehow still part of everything he does… Which came to no surprise,  She was just that kind of person who comes into your life & leaves an undeniable mark; like a TATTOO you cannot wash away from your SKIN. His hands clench tightly at his sides  &For the first time in awhile he finds himself choked up…It should have been him NOT her.
