So the clock has just struck 12, which means 6 years ago today I walked into primary school, a happy little 10 year old, and then suddenly my best friend came running upto me and burst out with “Michael Jackson has died!” I can’t even recall my response - the next thing I remember is sitting in the nurses office crying my little eyes out and the (absolutely terrifying) nurse trying to get out of me what was wrong? In the end my mum had to come and pick me up. It still doesn’t feel real to me that he’s dead, even writing it seems strange, I don’t think I’ll ever fully accept it. Because he’s not dead, okay his physical body maybe, but his spirit is still alive and is carried on through his music, his dancing, and his fans. It will never die. He will live forever. And I will love him forever. We will love him forever. And what’s incredible is that we know he loves us even more. He loves us most.
