I HAVE MOVED ROSIE TO A NEW BLOG! SAME URL!

               if Harry and the boys hadn’t been supporting her she was rather sure she would have fallen onto the floor by now. She couldn’t really register that the words had even passed her lips before they did. Rosie was her best friend, her everything, no matter what happened that would always be what was true. “ No, I’m a divorced woman that has loved you since we went to school together and for years I’ve tried to tell you just exactly how much I love you ” She took a shaky breathe, heart beating so fast she could almost feel a heart attack approaching, had she ever been this nervous before?

               a matter of seconds passed before they had started to play the song, could she have done this in a less dorky way? Probably not, it was all in or nothing. “ I can’t conceal it, don’t you see, can’t you feel it ” she sang softly along, eyes scanning over the shorter woman while she took a small step towards her, eyes widening in surprise when the girls on the other side of the room started to sing the next part. This really was something she’d remember until she died. 

          she was completely speechless  when tanya said what she did.  and when she broke into song ?  well, she was even more shocked.  she was fairly certain she would keel over at this point.  rosie mulligan, famous author dead from a heart attack.  eyes were wide as saucers when the soft melody of voices started beside her, surrounding her.  donna’s hands still on her shoulders, she can even feel a gentle push.  a sort of  what are you waiting for ?  movement.  mouth is dry, words are caught in her throat.

               sophie wasn’t getting married, it as chaos. In a way she was happy for her, she was far too young to run and get married without knowing what she really wanted and perhaps Tanya could relate to that feeling more than anyone. She never knew what she truly wanted, three failed marriages because they hadn’t been the one. The one she wanted to spend the last of her breathing days with and could anyone blame her for that? The person she wanted to spend the rest of her years with was in this church though, placed beside their best friend, Rosie had always been there for her, she didn’t know when the feelings of friendship changed for her but it had moved quickly. What if her best friend was her soulmate? Couldn’t that be possible? 

               before she knew it, Harry’s elbow had met her side, just a small nudge. He knew, of course, he knew, it wasn’t like it was a secret, she just hadn’t told Rosie about it but before she knew it, she spoke up over the voices around the room. “ Hang on ” Hand went up to make everyone go quiet while she nervously moved, oh this was it, wasn’t it? She could be denied everything, her soulmate, the love of her life but she needed to take this chance. “ Why waste a good wedding? How about it Mulligan, someone needs to take care of you when we get home ”

          it was quite honestly  a chaotic disaster.  but in the best of ways, very fitting for the kind of people they all were.  and truth be told, rosie was glad that sophie wasn’t getting married just yet.  she loved the girl as her own daughter, but she was far too young to venture into married life now.  there was so much of the world for her to explore.  just like donna  she thought to herself.  the wedding was off, and they would need to make their way down all those steps yet again.  she’d stood, speaking to donna quietly when tanya’s voice broke her thoughts.

          bill had many times before seen that look of hope & inspiration in rosie’s eyes. prior to him feeling their love connection —– he’d at least known they were connected in some way. thanks to that there never seemed to be a dull moment between them. & to think he almost missed it in idle moments, second guessing their destiny ( which he knew now was rightfully with each other ).     bless donna sheridan for bringing them together, once again.     “ i haven’t lost my charms just yet, dear. & if i have any say in it —– i never will. your passion would never allow it ! ” laughter fills the air as bill takes his second long swig of wine. “ almost as breathtaking as you, rosie. ” it’s as if her name is a ballad, a single word in itself filled with so much love & devotion.

          “ oh, come on, just listen to me would you ? ”     by now he doesn’t have much to say ( if they’d be talking on her terms ). of course that fact alone wouldn’t stop an old hound from trying. “ would you slow down a minute ? ” all this was quite reminiscent of a certain someones persistency. it wasn’t his specialty per say, but what harm could come from trying ?     “ ROSIE. ”

             of course Rosie could do this if there was anyone that could it was her. Tanya herself had been in the same situation more than a few times, what she usually did was to show up with someone new, arm candy, so to speak. “ Rosie, you can do this, don’t let him nestle his way back in when he hurt you so much ” She glanced around before wrapping her arms around her in a short hug, perhaps it would calm her down slightly. “ You’re the strongest person i’ve ever known, I’ll be right by your side ”
