Don’t forget that before they even met Jim was watching Spock play 3D chess and figuring out how to beat him from afar.

People were tagging my recent post asking why Kirk was still wearing his uniform while on vacation in "Human Best Friend" and of course the answer is he's wearing it to pick up chicks, a trick we see work on Spock during the episode

As someone who’s job is to handle chemicals like this, I need to state that this information is IMPORTANT. Plenty of people have accidentally injured or killed themselves at home because they didn’t know what kind of reaction certain substances have with one another. Play it safe and don’t mix chemicals.

Also don’t use bleach to clean up urine it’ll create chloramine bc of the ammonia in it and you can give yourself chemical pnemonia that way

Every time I see “helpful” posts telling people to mix these things while cleaning I cringe with my entire body.

Letting Spock (and maybe the others) believe he wasn't really there so he could spend his own holiday playing chess with drunk Spock, looking after him and learning his deepest hopes and fears (all of which Spock would probably have felt was too much of an inconvenience for the real Kirk. But Jim did not care), only to casually reveal himself afterwards and promise Spock's secrets were safe with him is the most Jim Kirk thing ever I fear....the man is a rascal but for only the most wholesome of reasons.
