I forgot about this Tumblr. And had deleted the app. But Loki’s still around, albeit he’s been pretty sick all fall with a mystery illness and, well, this photo is pretty but also shows what we both think of the current state of life:

My handsome sunshine boy. He is smol and as perfect as this vast field of buttercups.

I don’t normally go for cool blues, but the shadows fell so perfectly. I couldn’t have asked for a better in-the-shadows-and-harsh-light photo.

This is a very good girl who I had the pleasure of photographing for her family’s Christmas card. You can bet she featured prominently!

Happy ~8th Birthday, Loki! 2017 has been a pretty good year for you. We got your urine issues under control (knock on wood), took lots of photos, and snuggled a ton. Apart from a few minor injuries that sidelined you for a week at most, you've showed no signs of slowing down. Love you always, my bearded wizard boy!
