why do women on tech annoy so much men?
today I've heard on reddit an awful experience a woman has had on the tech reddit. of course this is a minority of men, but their terrible worlds affect huge still.
according to her, they say "women on tech are so dumb and useless, they're only hired bc of quota and bc they probably have had sex with the tech lead"
??????????????
it scares me this mentality is common because I've already heard something similar from one of my class colleagues. he said clearly to my face that I didn't need to study as much as him because companies these days hire women to keep their butts safe.
honestly... whats most scary about this whole stuff is these guys may appear friendly to you but say horrible shit on the internet. how are we possibly safe from them lol
It's not enough to be sexist, male chauvinism and misogynistic.
They are also dumb.
Surely in a capitalist world where we are just labor and if we make the company lose money because we don't really know how to program, they would continue with us just for an image of "inclusion"?
There's no one to warn, "man, that's a dumb argument"?
Because of things like this, every day that passes I convince myself more and more that men like that are very stupid and that's precisely why I can't let them intimidate me or other women.

POV: youβre in hyperfocus since this morning and itβs now 9 pm and you realized you havenβt eaten anything or even drunk water.

yesterday I made a grading calculator on time record! Everything seemed already natural on my mind and flew smoothly!
I also have to mention that I was absolutely mad at the time haha this grade is life changing to me and having to calculate it manually was pissing me off, so I created a page for this.
I was also glad to help other ppl that were in need of help like me!
I love the design as well!!! Seems like one of my bests!!! I came up with the idea of putting the inputs into a table so all of them got perfectly aligned! Tremendous satisfaction~~~~~

One of the many JS app ideas prompted by florinpop17 on GitHub.
I've finished my basic JavaScript class with a local youtube channel and I felt ready for new challenges. Until...
Unfortunately I don't have the capacities to follow florinpop17's constraints since my main goal is to learn JS... I was shocked when I learnt that with some simple commands the binary conversion is incredibly easy.
It's also unfortunate that I had to dig into a youtube tutorial since I wasn't capable of doing it myself! I didn't even know what a .addEventListener was But since then I've been recreating it alone and can finally say I've learned!
Phew...
