Fully vaccinated travelers from Low-Risk Countries are allowed to enter Thailand without quarantine. Traveler must be fully vaccinated for more than 14 days before travelling, should be residing in the country of departure for minimum 21 days, must book a SHA+ hotel for minimum one night while waiting for the result of the RT PCR COVID test upon arrival and must possess a COVID-19 Insurance. 

Alternatively, for international travellers who are unvaccinated or not fully vaccinated, they’ll be required to undergo the mandatory quarantine of 10 days in a designated hotel in Bangkok, Phuket or Samui before they’re allowed to travel to other parts of Thailand.

Certificate of Entry (COE) or Thailand Pass

A valid COE/Thailand Pass is mandatory during the COVID pandemic. It is an official document issued to Thai nationals and Foreign nationals who are permitted to enter Thailand.

 Do you need a Visa to enter Thailand? 

General tourists do not need to apply for a Thai Visa. The Thai Immigration Bureau will allow foreigners to stay in Thailand for upto 30 days. If they wish to stay longer, they’ll have to apply for an extension at any local immigration office in Thailand. Please know that the Thai Elite Visa and other non-immigrant visas are also available at the Thai Embassy around the world. Such visa holders are still required to apply for the certificate of entry at the Thai Embassy on departure.

Thailand COVID insurance for Foreigners

All foreigners must submit the COVID travel insurance certificate along with COE explicitly stating that the health insurance is for 50,000 USD or more and COVID-19 is covered. The duration of your stay in Thailand must be covered in the above. Visitors can easily buy these insurances online using their credit cards.

 1. Villa Attendants 

 Daily temperature checks are mandatory for all Villa Attendants. Any attendant recording a temperature over 99.1°F is denied entry to the villa.

They also undergo weekly COVID tests to ensure their safety and yours.

 2. Safety

Our villa attendants wear masks at all times and wash their hands with soap regularly while on shift.  We currently use only non-personal greeting methods.

3. Guests

In our Goa villa for rent a COVID test, antigen, or PCR, done 48 hours prior to check-in is mandatory. Guests testing positive for COVID are not allowed. Temperature checking is mandatory during check-in for all guests.

 4. Villas

Bungalow on rent in Alibaug, we keep a minimum 24-hour gap between check-ins. Sanitizer bottles are placed in each room. We allow increased ventilation by opening up windows and we adjust air conditioning throughout. All guests‘ luggage including handbags are wiped with WHO-approved disinfectants before placing them in the room.

5. Outdoor spaces

 Pool cleaning is done before check-in and after check-out in addition to daily cleaning. All surface areas are cleaned using WHO-approved disinfectants. Surfaces like doorknobs, tables, and desks are cleaned at regular intervals.

 6. Kitchens:

 In luxury villas in Goa, all kitchen equipment, appliances, and utensils are sanitized before arrival and then every morning and evening during the stay.
