── .✦ His ego isn’t bruised for losing, in fact he loves the fact you could easily break his neck during a fight. Everything is so much more interesting; he has an ultimate goal that is someday winning in a battle against you.

── .✦ Your strength alone motivates him to keep going, sharpen his technique, improving his body resistance, so you slowly become his idol.

── .✦ Which leads him to be a bit obsessed with you and sometimes jealous too. He dislikes when you’re fighting with someone else very much… Imagine him running to you for another combat because he needs to show his new technique and you say you’re already going for a match with someone else… His heart is broken and he is frustrated!

── .✦  He absolutely doesn’t want you to hold back your strength, if you need to break his nose or punch his stomach, do it! He is going to end up in the church, but he surely thinks it’s deserved.

── .✦  However, in a daily routine he may be get a little frustrated with you dragging him around or even picking him up like he’s a sack of potatoes. Especially in front of his team, it’s a mix of frustration and satisfaction.

── .✦ Maybe you didn’t even mean harm, but one day you two are late for an event and you simply hold his arm and drags so fast he feels like you’re some sort of machine. What a humiliation!

── .✦ He’s fascinated by how strong you are, how do you even do it? He’s a skilled and trained warrior and you still manage to make him feel like a rag doll every time. Is it genetics? Are you even human? Some sort of special training? 

── .✦ The stronger he gets, the strong you get too so time passes and he still can’t keep up with you. 

── .✦ Will randomly ask you to do arm wrestling with him. Just to pass time, of course; Lohen loses it and keeps asking again and again.

── .✦ He is going to be a menace for you with his ambushes. In some way or another, Lohen absolutely needs to surprise you. You’re walking in peace and then an attempt to trap you so he can laugh a little bit. If everything goes wrong, at least he tried.

── .✦ Lohen loves your body. You’re so tall and strong and fill your duties as your captain so perfect. He knew that in a battle you would make minced meat out of him and this didn’t make him upset at all.

── .✦ You were the only one that could put Lohen in a leash, yet sometimes you had no clue why he misbehaved or acted like a child. His behavior was confusing, little did you know Lohen just wants you to tame him.

── .✦ ‘’My eyes are up here.’’ It’s what you tell him the most. Is there something wrong with your outfit? Why does he keep staring at your thighs like a hungry hare? But in his mind, it’s so thick. He loved thickness, he respectfully wanted you to destroy his body and choke him until he passed out. Did he say that out loud?

── .✦ ‘’Why you never pay attention on what I am saying?’’ You’re frustrated as he almost drools. Where is his mind at? Anyway, your patience was wearing thin so you made him run around the entire Mondstadt as a punishment.

── .✦ There was an occasion you hugged him but noticed he wasn’t pulling away. The boy had his face buried between your chest, rubbing against it. Fortunately, you didn’t mind or gave it too much attention.

── .✦ ‘’Captain, I’ve recently learned a few moves and would like to spare with you.’’ It was a lie. He didn’t learn anything new, he simply wanted an excuse to be physically intimate with you and combat was the only way for now.

── .✦ Lohen being on his knees for you doesn’t mean he won’t give his best in the fight. In fact, the defeat is much more pleasant if he knows he put all his effort and was still used to wipe the floor anyway.

── .✦ During combat, he purposely creates situation you’ll need to use your legs on him. Once he succeeded, you two went to the floor together and your thighs wrapped around him before Lohen could even reach his polearm. The man started shaking in satisfaction, but you eventually let him go once he began with the: ‘’Choke me harder… It’s not enough!’’ 

── .✦ He wants your cookie so freaking bad to the point of asking your workout routine so you can understand he is interested on your body. But it doesn’t work.

‘’So, if we spread some of our teams in the east…’’ Your speech was immediately stopped once you realized Lohen wasn’t paying attention at all. ‘’Is there anything wrong, Lohen? You surely look distracted.’’

It took a while for him to answer properly. His eyes were fixated on your thighs. So healthy, so strong, so capable of crushing a skull between your legs if you tried enough.

‘’Nothing wrong, my Captain.’’ Lohen returns to reality, raising his head to stare at you confidently. Nothing about his expression changed at all. For him it was simple, he wanted you and there was no reason to be ashamed of it!

‘’I’ll remind you of something that not even rookies need to be told.’’ Your words were unbothered as you approached him. ‘’When I’m talking about our division’s next step, I want your eyes on mine, okay?’’

But as you tried to remind him that you were his superior, his gaze shifted again. This time, on your chest, and the expression on his face? Oh Barbatos, that was priceless. This conversation happened several times before, but only this time you realized what he was into. But instead of being bothered, an idea popped in your mind.

Without saying anything, you went behind your desk and sat down. The pile of books blocked the view of your chest, and the desk of your thighs. For the first time in the day, he wasn’t pleased at all.. Maybe you found out what he was into, but at what costs?

‘’So, Lohen.’’ You call for his attention, your voice simply. ‘’If you don’t want me changing my uniform for really loose pants, I would suggest paying attention to what I have to say for today’s plans.’’

Always taming him. This is how different you were.

‘’Dispatch two different teams at the east where the abyss order has been appearing a lot recently. The targets are always located far away from ordinary weapons, so the range company is needed for this task.’’ Lohen says as fast as he can, showing you he was always paying attention.

When thinking about fast and strong, the first person that comes to your mind is indeed your boyfriend. On the battlefield, Lohen is so fast you can barely keep up with his moves, and his stamina of wanting more fights after fights is something that always surprised you.

So, you wanted to test the differences between you two. Not directly in a fight, but see if you could win him or a race or something. When you brought up that idea to him, his grin was wider than expected, like he immediately loved the idea.

You two even went outside Mondstadt city so the challenge could properly happen, you didn’t want any citizen getting hurt or something, Lohen wasn’t known for holding back when it came to challenges. Everything was happening on Stormbearer Coast, a place you judge to be peaceful.

‘’I’ll start running, you just count five seconds to run after me. Understood?’’

‘’As you wish.’’ Lohen looked extremely excited, you could see his smile; it wasn’t the same he used for enemies, instead it was like an inner child receiving something they really wanted. ‘’Let’s see how fast those legs can run?’’

So, you started running as fast as you could, as much as your legs allowed. The breeze was nice, and you put so much effort into running like that you believed not even the abyss order would make you run so much. And you wanted to cause your boyfriend a good impression too, you could keep up with him and you were not that weak!

But you also counted on your mind. One, two, three, four, five… Maybe it was the adrenaline, but you didn’t hear his steps. So, looking back to check, you saw he wasn’t moving at all even after the time passed. Lohen kept not moving, his arms crossed and his posture completely relaxed as he watched you run from him. More seconds passed but you kept running anyway, wondering if he understood the five seconds rule.

Then, what Lohen was doing was understood. Unashamed playing and mocking you. Not five, but fifteen seconds later he started to run. His posture was totally different from yours as he sprinted. If he was an enemy, you would be a goner already.

Engaging in a small duel with him, you tried your best and stopped facing Lohen. Instead, you locked in the maximum possible and focused on the trail ahead. Unfortunately, these plans were totally ruined by the sound of Lohen’s footsteps louder and louder, until finally a hand reached your back.

‘’N-No, wait…!’’ You gasped, but it was too late.

His arms grabbed your waist and pulled you off the ground safely, spinning you in the air so easily you felt like a rag doll.

‘’Got you. And I must say, it wasn’t very hard.’’

‘’You’re cheating. This isn’t fair!’’

His response was a mocking laugh. Lohen brought you closer to him, kissing both your cheek and neck in a genuine affection that made your body melt. ‘’Me? Even by giving you 10 extra seconds?’’

‘’Yes. I was distracted by you not chasing me and this interrupted my good performance.’’ You didn’t kiss him back, but also didn’t pulled him away.

‘’Good performance? My sweetheart, I’ve seen children running faster than that.’’  Once Lohen, always Lohen. This way of showing affection would never change apparently.

‘’No, you didn’t. Stop that.’’ Faking being upset, you pulled away from his arms. ‘’But seriously, I am not slow. You’re just… too fast. Imagine if you were chasing me for real?’’

‘’Good thing I am not.’’ Lohen held your hand, bringing to his lips and placing soft kisses on your knuckles. ‘’Think from another perspective. If you ever need help or to be saved, I’ll be here really fast. And nothing bad will ever happen to you.’’

Lohen had that boyish expression of his that made you want to kiss his lips. He was simply so charming, so convincing that staying upset at him was impossible. This time you accepted his affection.

‘’Well, this isn’t wrong.’’ Your arms wrapped around his neck and your lips found his jawline. ‘’Thank you.’’

Like a sack of potatoes, Lohen lifted you and placed your body on his shoulder before walking to another direction. ‘’Now, let’s go.’’

‘’Wait, where you’re even taking me?!’’

‘’To running lessons, of course. Seriously, sweetheart, that was horrible.’’

── .✦ Relationship seems perfect at the start, because you two are absolutely soulmates. And you still feel like it despite everything.

── .✦ It all starts and you two are close, hanging out everyday, texting all day, sleeping in each other’s place frequently, and you notice Lohen is too interested in you. It’s okay because you’re also very interested in him.

── .✦ He wants to know what you’re doing every part of the day despite him being busy. And if you don’t reply, he’ll show up to your house and say how much you can’t go missing now that you have a boyfriend. Your heart yearns for love and connection, so of course you don’t mind the slightly passive-aggressive attitude of his. After all you can’t… since you do the same.

── .✦ You two love spending time choosing outfits together, even giving their opinions to help each other. And because you two are always together and looking pretty, your Instagram profile is full of pictures of you and your handsome boyfriend. Everyone knows you’re in a relationship, just like Lohen wants to.

── .✦ Do something that slightly bothers him and you’re done for him for the rest of the day. Will ignore your whole existence, all your crying voice messages and after a whole day of agony, will appear calling you his darling and text you he was busy with something else.

── .✦ Sometimes, you make him want to taste his own medicine and also ignores him while keeping talking to other people. Ignoring Lohen is the key to piss him off, and his mental health isn’t the best one already, and this will lead to arguing sessions where he says a lot of mean stuff.

── .✦ However, breaking up never crossed anyone’s head (unless it’s for threatening). You two are always together and he is really your best friend, if you’re feeling lonely he’ll show up and do something with you, and you do the same for him. Lohen is always by your side in every sense possible, if you fight someone he’ll defend you and ask if you want the person dead. 

── .✦ The fact you can talk to him about anything makes him really happy. Got a bittersweet opinion or just a random thought that would scare normal people away? Lohen is your man to vent to, and he agrees with everything.

── .✦ People outside don’t notice at all the toxic part since you two are really good in keeping private. For everyone else you are couple goals. Your tumblr/instagram updates? Lohen is the best boyfriend ever, since you always post the gifts he spoils you.

── .✦ Ah, you’re also the only one that will ever known about his personal problems. He trusts you and you only to deal with his breakdowns, his fear of abandonment or when he starts thinking too little of himself.

── .✦ If you’re more of a delicate person physically, his tease will remain only in words. However if you’re a tough person, man will straight up dig holes in the ground so you can fall on them. And while you insult all his bloodline, he is peacefully staring at you waiting for the opportunity to say: ‘’Oh? I am sorry, this was supposed to be for some hilichurls and you interrupted all my plans. Always so clumsy, hum?’’

── .✦ Following the same idea, if you’re a fighter, get ready to have him after you everyday to get a sparring session from you. If you lose, he will keep calling you weak and a disappointment, but if you win he’ll run after you to know all your combat techniques. Can’t avoid him.

── .✦ When you innocently gives an opinion or states a fact, he’ll disagree even if he knows you’re right. You’re pissed. How can someone disagree that a triangle has three sides? What possibly could’ve led him to this? So, while you explain some things are rules and right by default, Lohen can only stare at your lips.

── .✦ On a certain occasion, you saw Lohen sleeping and how cute he was looking so peaceful. Now that he wasn’t being annoying, he was so adorable so you gently removed his hair from his face to admire his features. Thing is, Lohen wasn’t sleeping. And he is going to remind you of this for the rest of your life. His cocky smile while saying: ‘’I didn’t know you found me so handsome. Can’t even control your hands? How adorable.’’

── .✦ He is extremely calm at every situation. Doesn’t raise his voice, always has everything under his control, and this pisses you off. The world is ending, you’re worried and telling him to do something about it, while Lohen turns to face you with a smile and tells you to not overreact. And if you strangle or shake him out of frustration? Good, he’s right where he wants to be. In the clouds.

── .✦ Will shameless say you’re gorgeous when angry. What to do? Insults or hits will only make him happy. 

── .✦ If you have periods, please don't let him know if you're having one. You're more sensitive and annoyed than normal and he won't spare you. Will compare your behavior with one of an angry mitachurl just to make you see red. But he'll also bring you good food, painkillers and massage your stomach and shoulders. ''Can't have my little monster feeling this bad.''

── .✦ Even so, when you’re all by yourself and Lohen is busy with other things, the feeling of loneliness is inevitable. You find yourself missing his stupid comments, yet this situation will never be openly admitted. 

── .✦ You even try switching positions by annoying him. Making comments about his combat skills and expecting Lohen to be pissed about it, but he laughs and mocks your poor abilities at teasing. ‘’Go and do better.’’

── .✦ Enough. Lohen is so annoying you understand no one can be above his level of teasing, and you keep saying he got a degree on Pissing People off University. The worst part is that, aware he is only messing around, you keep getting frustrated with his stupid comments and opinions.

── .✦ Lohen will say something that makes you not believe he is real. While you’re gathering all possible insults in your mind, he is: ‘’Oh, I bet you’re so angry at me for this? Do you want to slap me?’’ and even offers his cheek to receive a slap. If you slap, Lohen is going to be very happy but still call you weak.

── .✦ Until one day you get really angry. All you need is peace to focus on your task, but he can’t stop talking and asking you things, being totally against the idea of you focusing on anything that isn’t his presence.

── .✦ So, it requires drastic measures. Not insulting or anything, you pin him against the wall and kiss him until both of you are completely out of breath. Biggest hope is for Lohen to get shocked and stop talking.

── .✦ And yes, he is speechless for 10 seconds. But now, the menace is aware that pissing you off can and will result in him being kissed by you, and seconds later he is annoying you again.

── .✦ So, things followed like that. Creating a sensation that for now, being only his best friend was okay, because all his attention was on you anyway, your heart wasn’t just prepared for the day your worst fear would come true.

── .✦ It was an ordinary day, while doing your tasks and walking around the city, you hear two knights of Fifith Company, people that are a little bit closer to him, talking. Curious, you end up staying only to hear one of them whispering Lohen is clearly in love, he has been mentioning a girl too much and even bought some roses to confess his feelings.

── .✦ Your heart beats very fast, and the tears want to fall so badly. It was out of nowhere, when did he meet someone else? The world around suddenly stopped, and you left the place immediately.

── .✦ The same day, in your place, Lohen knock on the door, wanting to pay a visit. But you didn’t open, what if he told you something about his new crush? Hearing him talk about someone else looked like a nightmare and a big no. So, for the first time you didn’t open the door for your best friend. The plan was quietly quitting until your heart eventually forgot about him. Also, you didn’t want to get between him and his new crush and cause trouble. Maybe that would be the end of your friendship.

── .✦ But avoiding him was impossible. The next day, he kept talking to you, noticing how quiet you were. As the days pass, there’s always an excuse of having work to do or having a headache, everything to avoid Lohen talking too much. It hurt badly, the feeling of loneliness and losing your best friend.

── .✦ Of course Lohen noticed that. He was extremely frustrated, trying to figure out what he could’ve possibly done to upset you so much, even considering the possibility of you being afraid of his confession for not liking him back.

── .✦ But Lohen is a straightforward man, he has no problem on facing situations or getting to the bottom of it. If it’s going to hurt him or no, in the end, it was better than being kept in the dark..

── .✦ So that night he goes to your place and keeps knocking on the door, determined and not giving up. ‘’I know you’re there and you don’t get to avoid me today. Come on, put on your best clothes because I am taking you to dinner.’’

── .✦ After hearing that, your heart hurts and you feel like ignoring him is beyond mean. You open the door and Lohen notices your gaze is similar to a neglected puppy, so he immediately asks what is even happening.

── .✦ ‘’I would love to go out with you, but what if your crush misunderstands? I don’t want to make things more difficult.’’

── .✦ Lohen is speechless. What? Crush? The look on his face tells everything you need to know, the man is confused as you. So, you tell him about what you heard about him buying roses for his new crush.

── .✦ ‘’You mean the roses I bought for you that day you ignored me?’’ And this time, you’re the one who is speechless. Lohen is frustrated you made up a scenario in your head and got sad about it without even talking to him before. 

── .✦ But he takes the opportunity to make a move. He is not stupid or anything, isolating yourself and becoming depressed is not something someone would do unless they’re really in love with a person. Lohen confesses you’re the only one he is interested in. It's been a while.

── .✦ Your heart was supposed to calm down, but it beats faster at every word. Of course you apologize to him for the behavior and finally confess your love to him too.
