ever since i was a small child i knew i wanted to have an unemployable skillset

resounding applause to people who have to do things alone!!! people who move to a new place with no money and no friends, people who can't ever ask their relatives for help, people who have no mentors, people who have to navigate complex paperwork without advice (like applying for healthcare or student aid), people who've had terrible things happen to them without company to console them, people who can't find anyone who understands their home language, people who feel like they have to keep every struggle they feel inside of themselves because that's how life as always been, people who are just now building their friend group in the middle of their 20s, 30s, 40s, and older!!! it sucks and it's terrible, but we still move forward to a future where it won't always be this way
