••• In my mind, Jean-Jacques was taken in by d'Apchier family at 6. He kept his old surname because he was taken away as a child after a certain XXX incident (that is not from an orphanage). So I imagine he would have used a double surname, but everyone would call him as Chastel. The d'Apchies family owns a large business in the XXX industry. Chloé had loving but strict parents, and this sternness in her character sometimes comes out (rich people who really work lmao)
