Panting. Heavy, Heavy panting as if they were running from someone or something. Their footsteps weighed heavy on damp grass and muddy ground. They looked as if they were going to collapse from exhaustion alone.
He didn't mean to get separated from his group!! He got too lost in thought and managed to wander off! Shedletsky would scold him when he got back to the cabins, usually this didn't happen but Chance wasn't here today in this run. Usually they'd keep him grounded and with the group by holding his wrist.
They come to a stop, hunching over to catch their breath. They could run more but they were so exhausted. Just narrowly avoiding John doe like that, and now they were alone. Completely, and utterly alone.
The forest was already eerie as is, but being alone in it? It just gave the feeling of being watched. He frantically would look around in hopes that the killer wasn't following. When he confirmed this, he started walking again, hoping to find the cabin.
Every rustle of bushes and foliage startled them, every noise, every little thing. Maybe they were just paranoid.

[ 007n7 was on his way back to his cabin as his gui started vibrating and glowing slightly in his pocket, at first he thought maybe it wasnt anything important. he hasnt used his gui in weeks, so it couldnt be anything that important.. right?.. it was still vibrating when he made it to his cabin. okay, perhaps he should look at it. ]
[ Before 7n7 walked into his cabin, he pulled up his gui to check what it was. There was a little pop up in the middle that showed a map, once clicked on, it showed at least rough lay out of what the woods behind the cabins looked like. ]
[ okay totally not weird. that wasnt there before. ]
[ 7n7 zoomed in on the map layout when there was a yellow dot in the woods, somewhere closer towards the middle. He wasnt able to see what the dot was or anything like that- but knowing how this thing worked, maybe it was a location ping? how was that possible? he didnt install anything like that.. ]
[ 7n7 had nothing else to do while he was awake, so he cautiously walked into the woods with the gui open. Trying to follow where the ping was located, but without any set direction.. it felt a little like mindless wandering. The only indication that he was on the right path was when there would be a quiet beep sound coming from the gui, almost sounded like a metal detector. ]
[ eventually while walking, the beeping just.. stopped. does this mean he was getting close? who fucking knew. 7n7 closed his gui and continued to walk in the woods, his tail illuminating a very soft glow that helped 7n7 make sure he didnt trip on anything in the dark forest. ]
"Hellooo..? Is anybody out here?" [ 007n7 spoke out loud before muttering to himself. ] "God- why would anyone be out here this late- sure, just follow a random beeping into the woods. Smartest move ever 07.."
