Editing is the worst part of novel making. It’s not fun to read the same story a dozen times, it’s not fun to tell your past self how awful they did, and it’s not fun having to Google grammar and punctuation things. But there is a bright side to editing; you get to highlight all over your manuscript which makes it feel like a coloring book. And coloring books are cool.

And I don’t really want to be humble.

Once I get to the other side of the arch I'm officially back in the east.

If you are thinking about road tripping with a friend there are 2 qualifications you must keep in mind when choosing said friend. First you need to have a similar taste in music. No one should have to listen to 8 hours of country. Ever. Secondly you need to have different tastes in snacks. No one should have to share their kettle chips. Ever.

Today I went to Roswell to indulge my inner nerd. I learned something very important. No, not that aliens exist; I already knew that. What I learned was how far our government is willing to go to pull off a cover-up and how many people they can deceive with their sham.
