What a life

Understanding is the first step to acceptance and only with acceptance can there be recovery.

“I like drinking coffee alone and reading alone. I like riding the bus alone and walking home alone. It gives me time to think and set my mind free. I like eating alone and listening to music alone. But when i see a mother with her child, a girl with her lover, or a friend laughing with their bestfriend, I realize that even though i like being alone, i don’t fancy being lonely. The sky is beautiful, but the people are sad. I just need someone who wont run away.”

To make the right choices in life you need to get in touch with your soul. To do this, you need to experience solitude, which most people are afraid of.

None of us really changes over time. We only become more fully what we are.

I am a dreamer. I know so little of real life that I just can’t help reliving such moments as these in my dreams, for such moments are something I have very rarely experienced. I am going to dream about you the whole night, the whole week, the whole year. I feel I know you so well that I couldn’t have known you better if we’d been friends for twenty years. You won’t fail me, will you? Only two minutes, and you’ve made me happy forever. Yes, happy. Who knows, perhaps you’ve reconciled me with myself, resolved all my doubts.

There are some things you learn best in calm, and some in storm.

Everyone seems to have a clear idea of how other people should lead their lives, but none about his or her own.

To have a sense of belonging in the arms of the one you love is truly a great feeling.
