like flood gates opening

the longing so strong

it chokes you

grips your every fiber

drags you into

the depths of despair

a heavy weight

on your heart

other times

it’s a light breeze

carefully stroking your hair

cradling your heart

and bringing you a peace

if only you could predict

when and how

the boy was snoozing on his bed. in sheets that looked even dirtier in the morning sun. she didn’t mind last night, face pressed into the pillow while he ate her out from behind (and almost made her come), but now she shuddered. the room was a mess. a cliche student abode: cups of old coffee, crumpled up tissue paper (surely not from a cold), stacks of study books and full ashtrays scattered around. clothes everywhere. she wasn’t the perfect picture of cleanliness herself, but that was too much.

high like the moon

sparkling perfection

wind in her waves

a grand image

and he took my hand

to show me the night sky

and he took my hand

to show me the moon and the stars

and he took my hand

to show me his favorite constellations

and he took my hand

knowing he didn’t have to

as i didn’t need him

to show me this exquisite world

i knew it by myself

he asked me about a mission to mars

i said ‘not now, maybe in a year or two.’

he smiled

i asked ‘is that boring? wanting to wait?’

he shook his head

choke me

spank me

with your dreams

tie me up

with your ideas

punish me

with your emotions

give me

just let me be free

not hungry for your attention

craving your touch

like a starving being
