shang lived a very scheduled life, every morning his alarm blasted loud annoying beeping at 5am so he could go for his morning run. he liked living in a routine, there was no surprises, no worrying about what could happen because it was already planned out for him. his run was his time to clear his mind, his ‘shower time’, the part of the day where he let himself get a little introspective while he jogged around the city during the early morning when there was barely anyone around. early morning was shang’s favorite time of day, the whole world was so quiet, so calming which is why he opted for a morning run. as he jogged along, headphones blasting a random playlist from spotify that was supposed to be ‘made for him’ which was mostly edm songs with high bpm so he could follow the beat while running. the fit man turned a corner, jogging right into someone who he hadn’t expected to be there. immediately his quick reflexes kicked up, catching himself from pushing his weight onto the other person as his hands swiftly grabbed onto the person he’d bumped into, making sure they didn’t also fall. “ whoa there ! “ he exclaimed before letting his hands drop from the other person and cross over his chest as he took in a deep breathe, lungs gasping slightly from recovering from that bump and the jogging. “ what are you doing up so early? “ shang’s officer voice kicked in, honestly curious as to why this person was awake, normally he only saw elderly people up this early and even then, they barely did anything this early.
