MW coming back to NCIS?
I am not saying the only reason for tony being relevant is because of tali and ziva but also that being said i am genuinly confused what the point of bringing him back is as far as i know they havent disclosed his arch they just said its going to be most of the season and that just makes me wonder i dont know the point of bringing a character back like tony when his story has mostly been conclued in terms of the og show . especially if Ziva and Tali aren't coming too i guess theres only going to be mentions of thoughts? i mean i did read it's taking place after the spinoff, so it would only make sense to bring back Tony and Ziva unless something's going on, but other than that I don't know
Finally got on AO3, yay!!!!
I have said this before, and I know this is old news, but I am not over the irony of this man. He makes fun of Ziva for the opera being " the big three" of romantic dates, then he goes out of his way, mind you, to bring the opera to her because she couldn't go because he knew it was important to her. And despite the fact that he made fun of her for the opera being one of the big three, some might say the gesture he made to bring her the opera could be considered "one of the big three," it's so ironic, can't with him.
and weβre supposed to believe that theyβre platonicβ¦ yeah right
Mind you, they were both seeing other people, and for a guy that said "he understood this one" (ej), he certainly couldn't keep his hands off Ziva

alexa play guilty as sin? by taylor swift
girlfriend was going THROUGH it
The little grin on her face, she was still at the restaurant, literally
Having severe writers block so if you have anything you want me to write for Tiva feel free to share
Do we think tony started therapy again, and was actually honest again, or did he completely swear off therapy again? Because I know Tali talked to a therapist in the end, so I am assuming he still feels positively about therapy, so I am wondering, do we think they are still doing therapy, or are they too traumatized from the marital counseling retreat
I'm gonna be the devil's advocate here and say he doesn't do therapy again because he holds this 'I don't need therapy wtf are you talking about' persona until sometimes it slips through the cracks (like they did on 1x07) that maybe he needs a friend or someone to talk to
but I personally like to think he doesn't and they don't return there lol a personal thing but to me it sounds a bit like 'yeah at least we've tried' and they found other ways to communicate, to spend quality time together and heal without being so obvious
I really like the idea of Tali in therapy though, that girl needs it haha I fear she's the breaking point of them and has been through #too much from such an young age, she should be the one open to it
I can totally see this but I like to think for me maybe he did find a therapist? Not couples' therapy; I think that made him feel like he needed to perform something. But for himself. And not one who necessarily went deep into his history. But someone who could be a sounding board. *Tells a story about Ziva. So what should I do?* *What do you want to do?* asks the therapist. *Should I tell Ziva X?* *Do you want to? Do you think she knows that?*
I'm not sure Tali needs therapy -- she actually seems pretty well-adjusted. Although I think a few honest conversations with her parents about some of their history with her are in order. Clearly, Ziva having left them is a wound that gets to her sometimes, as it would, but I don't know if I see her needing therapy to work through that so much as her and Ziva not being afraid to talk about it sometimes.
Yes, I agree with this 100% individual therapy would definitely give him the choice of what he wants to share and what he wants to keep private. A therapist would be a healthy sounding board for tony

i know i am in enmey territory but this is just my opinion
I am glad we didn't get the scene where they are in bed together when tali walks in on them in the scene, you could kind of see the expression on her face like if tony and ziva got back together, she was afraid it was going to be like how it was when ziva first came back and when they were at breakfast she clearly wasnt ready but she eventually comes to the conculsion on her own that her parents derseve to be happy without it being forced on to her just because she saw them in bed. And secondly, the idea that they sleep together after Henry died seems sweet, but in my opinion, it just seems like a reverse Adam situation, especially when you consider they aren't together, they're "keeping it professional. Yes, she is comforting him because Henry died, but part of me feels like it's just another situation sleeping together cause someone died. All that being said, they shouldn't have deleted them. Opening up that was so good and progress, ESPECIALLY for tony

I love it when the male is a lovesick fool
I dont know what you would call this trope, but I am OBSSESED when the fmc tells the guy she is currently datiing she is not looking to get serious or something of that affect and then they break up, then she goes and confesses she likes the mmc i know its so crue,l but something about is just chefs kisss becaue wdym you werent ready to get serious with the guy you've been dating for months but you are fine to with guy you've been pining over for months at work, etc. like, "i am not ready to get serious with you, but I am him." It's so cruel, but I love it. Bonus points if she tries to soften the blow when telling. I have a tiva example when Adam admitted he was in love with Ziva, she was like I don't know what to say, girl, what?"
edit: its called " i am ready just not with you" lmaoooo
This isn't necessarily a Tiva-related post, but I have been wondering if I am the only one who does this when writing, or if I am just weird. When I REALLY like a ship, I love to imagine them beyond the scope of the TV show or book, like to make a Pinterest board about what their house would look like, clothes, and career. Am I the only one who does this, or do you do it too with ships you really like
Ziva on "NCIS":
Ziva on "NCIS: Tony & Ziva":
i feel that there wasn't much representation/references to her hebrew heritage in ncis: tony and ziva. she swears in english as opposed to hebrew, which feels as if she is losing pieces of her cultural identity.
tali not referring to tony and ziva as "abba" or "ima" really throw me off too. her first two years with ziva, tali spoke hebrew only. i would think that hebrew would be her first language, therefore she would use "ima" or "abba."
i understand the speaking of french in the spinoff since they primarily live in paris, but i would think that saying hebrew words of affection here and there would keep the heritage alive.
no, agree with this, and I also feel like it's so much sexier for some reason when she swears in Hebrew
maybe I am late to the party picking up on this but I am losing my mind in the jet lag episode they lied to McGee , which as a result he lied to the director. their flight was not delayed because in the cafe they have that whole exchange about ziva looking comfy when she slept their flight wasnt delayed they slept in I cant with them

"We stay on mission and get back to Tali." Staying on mission lasted all of a about five seconds; they ended up in bed together that same night
someone on TikTok commented saying that the writers didnt take full use of the rating for the tiva spinoff and that had me cackling because its so true. I feel like all they used the R rating for was swearing because they knew they could and the scene when they were in Paris lasted like one second just for tali to call I love tali but I feel like they used that scene just to prove that tali thought ziva and Tony didnt like each other which yes thats a pivotal scene but did it have interrupt the morning after scene lmao ?
