Hey everyone, I’m Lit Wright.

I’m the kind of person who will stay up until 3am because a manuscript has me in a chokehold. I read over 200 books a year, cry at good endings, and get genuinely excited when I spot a diamond in the rough of a rough draft.

I spend most of my time deep in other people’s manuscripts, finding plot holes, strengthening characters, tightening pacing, and helping writers turn messy first drafts into stories they’re actually proud of.

I’m a big believer in honest but kind feedback. I’ll cheer for what’s working and gently tell you what’s not (because I’ve been there too).

1. Your protagonist is reactive instead of proactive for the first 8 chapters 2. The stakes are “I might be sad” instead of “I might lose everything.” 3. The middle sags because you’re scared to make things worse for your characters.

I see these in almost every other manuscript I read.

Nothing beats that feeling when a story hits different.

1. Character waking up in the first scene 2. Too many names on page 1 3. No conflict or stakes in the opening 4. Big info-dumps about the world/backstory 5. It feels too similar to other books in your genre
