Krii7Y fluff to be specific! Everyone screamed at me for the last part of this AU that I wrote so I’m making up for it because a) Liz broke me with her last part and b) I have no self control. Warnings for blood, near-death experiences, and hospitals. Regardless of where you think this is going as you read it, I hope you enjoy this practically tooth-rotting fluff, folks!
“There you fucking are.”
Kryoz sounded annoyed, but Smitty knew he was pretending. The hilltop was their favorite place to hang out and get away from the world, filled with hiding places and a choice of several different views. Currently, Smitty was sitting against a tree, looking out towards the river and the incoming fog bank with a thick blanket wrapped around his shoulders to ward off the chill of the late fall night.
“Scoot.” John sat down slowly, stretching his cast-covered legs out in front of him. Without prompting, Smitty held out the blanket so Kryoz could wrap himself in it as well, but he wasn’t anticipating just how close Kryoz moved. Their thighs pressed together, only a pair of jeans and sweats between them, and Kryoz groaned as he laid his head on Smitty’s shoulder and tugged the blanket tighter around their bodies.
“Your head won’t hurt as much if you keep it upright,” Smitty pointed out, his heart racing and his body deliberately still. He didn’t know how to handle this, especially not here, especially now.
“Fuck you,” Kryoz replied, keeping his head where it was.
