I think my main quarrel with the writing in this season of iwtv is that sometimes in order to tell us something important is taking place, three sets of voices must overlap and build towards a crescendo. sometimes that's very effective and very true to the chaos of lestat's internal dialogue. and sometimes it reads as a bad stage play
