      Flowers spilled out of the shop, welcoming and       beckoning you to step closer to the fragrant blossoms.       A whistling kettle soon joined the present company.      ❝ && one lump or two?? ❞

"The usual.” She replied, wiping the back of her hand across her forehead, leaving a faint smudge of soil behind. Maddie had only just started repotting some of their bigger flowers that had grown too big for the containers and she was exhausted. With a heaving sigh, she plopped back onto the floor, looking up at her hands with a pout. “Extra milk though?”

“I know how to keep my fingers around plants, thank you.” Rory took a few steps back just in case, moving over to a friendlier looking row. “And I’m not messing with them. I’m just looking.”

“Suit yourself.” She shrugged, tucking her hair behind her ear. “Is there anything you are looking for in particular?”

      Barbara’s eyes widened at her words and she jumped back a step, keeping her hands close to her sides. “Merlin. That one is a no go, then. Okay, what child friendly plant do you think Erin would like? I clearly can’t tell the dangerous and the safe ones apart.“ 

Maddie couldn’t help but laugh as she bounced over to where Barbara was rooted. “Its leaves actually make a really nice tea for common colds and its even proven to ease the affects of Dragon Pox. But for Erin how about--”She trailed off moving to the other side of the room to grab a small sized plant with stubby leaves. “This one. Its called Ziazan which means ‘rainbow’ but it’s an ingredient for Amortentia. It changes color depending on mood and gives off a bubblegum scent-- sounds right up Erin’s alley..”

“Look, I understand you’re annoyed, but yelling at me won’t make the manager floo here any faster.”

“--Perhaps you should train your owls not to pick pocket and people won’t yell?”
