everyone knew about ellie williams and abby anderson. they were the golden doubles team. junior circuit darlings, and best friends. they knew each other like the back of their hand. they had met at a tennis camp when they were eleven years old and had been inseparable ever since.
abby anderson was the perfect athlete who never cracked under pressure. the player who looked like she had been built in a lab specifically to win grand slams.
ellie williams was her opposite. she played as though every point was personal, every opponent had wronged her, and that all she wanted was for them to lose. nobody else could keep up and understand the other. they loved each other, and their bond overcame any obstacle. until you.
the first time they saw you, they weren't even supposed to be watching. their own match had ended an hour earlier. they should've been eating, recovering, and talking about their next match against each other. instead, they were sitting in the stands watching the girls' singles final because everyone else was.
they were curious about you. word travelled in the tennis world, and rumors had spread that you were good. a prodigy, even. you'd won the australian open at eighteen years old. they needed to see you play for themselves. you stepped onto the court, and ellie stopped talking. which was how abby knew something was wrong. ellie never stopped talking, she would know.
"oh."
"what?" abby looked over.
ellie didn't answer. she was staring. abby followed her gaze, and then she understood. she noticed your split-step first. ellie had already gone quiet because you were gorgeous, and she was watching your feet. every landing was exactly where it needed to be. she'd never seen anyone recover that quickly after a forehand. the two girls were entranced by the sight of you.
racket in hand, sweat glistening from your brow, white tennis dress fluttering with the wind. your eyes were set on your opponent, footwork light but quick. you certainly lived to your reputation.
the two of them leaned back, arms resting on the bleachers, their eyes not leaving your silhouette. jesus christ. "she's pretty," ellie said after a moment. abby glanced at her. ellie didn't even pretend she wasn't looking. usually she'd make a joke, but she was serious. her eyes hadn't left you the entire match.
"...yeah." abby agreed mindlessly, biting the inside of her cheek as she looked at you again. it was hard not to be mesmerized. "i've never seen someone play like that." ellie leaned forward against the railing. abby laughed under her breath, but didn't disagree.
every shot feels like you've already played the point five times inside your head before your opponent even moves. the crowd erupts after match point. the two girls watched as you nodded at your opponent, shook her hand, and packed your bag.
"who cares? look at how she plays. i think i'm in love."
abby rolled her eyes, but she didn't stop watching until you were completely gone. neither did ellie, but she hadn't noticed.
âą ŰŤ × â§
your adidas party happened that night. something about celebrating you as the face of their new campaign. the party is loud enough to make abby regret showing up. ellie, on the other hand, looked right at home. she took a sip of her drink, the two of them standing in front of your framed photos from adidas.
"...i'd let her fuck me with a racket," ellie murmured. abby snorted, and elbowed her. she didn't necessarily disagree, but her pride stopped her from admitting it.
you were on the dance floor with your friends in a blue dress. your hair was pulled back, and a simple gold chain was around your neck. abby noticed you first, and ellie noticed once she'd noticed abby spacing out.
"...there she is," ellie said softly.
"...yeah." abby swallowed. they were both silent for a moment, not knowing what to do now that you were two feet away. when you finally stepped away from dancing to grab a drink, ellie nudged the taller girl.
"c'mon."
"what? where are we going?" abby blinked.
"we're saying hi," ellie said, matter of fact.
"what? no we're not."
"uh, yeah we are."
before abby could protest again, ellie was already walking towards you.
âą ŰŤ × â§
you recognized them immediately. abby anderson and ellie williams. best doubles team on the junior circuit. the media loved them. they'd grown up together, and won everything together.
"...nice match." ellie smiled at you.
"thanks."
"you, like, crushed her. i almost feel bad."
"she cheated during some of her other matches, i wouldn't feel so bad," you shrugged. their eyebrows rose, seemingly in sync, and abby let out a small laugh. "i'm ellie," ellie cut in, noticing that abby was about to speak. abby briefly gave her a side eye, then scratched the back of her neck awkwardly. "and i'm abby."
your eyes lingered on both of them for half a second longer than necessary. or maybe abby imagined it. ellie definitely noticed.
"you guys are that doubles pair, right? what is it, fire and ice?"
"in the flesh." ellie smirked.
"so who's fire, and who's ice?"
"your pick."
"you were... you were really good today." abby piped up.
"oh, thanks." you smiled. "...hey, you're going to stanford, aren't you?"
"...yeah. how'd you know that?" she blinked.
"i just accepted my offer and they mentioned you." you laughed a little.
"you're not going pro?" ellie cut in.
"no, not yet."
"why waste your time playing college tennis? you're really good."
you turned as your dad called for you. something about taking pictures. "i've gotta go. it was nice meeting you both." you smiled at them.
"oh, yeah, totally," abby stammered out.
"nice to meet you, too." ellie nodded, and they watched you leave.
"so..." abby shoved her hands into her pockets. "do we leave?" abby asked, glancing at ellie. "well, duh. it'll look too desperate if we stay until the end," ellie murmured, but stayed put.
âą ŰŤ × â§
unsurprisingly, they'd stayed. the party ended about thirty minutes ago, and you were about to go inside, when you'd noticed them slouching on some nearby chairs, clearly waiting for another chance to talk to you. they'd both straightened up when they noticed you.
"you smoke?" ellie asked, fingers reaching for her lighter.
"what, cigarettes?"
"yeah."
"no. do you?" you snorted.
"yeah." ellie grinned. "you wanna go to the beach with us?" abby's eyes were set on you, silently hoping you'd say yes. "...sure, why not?" you shrugged after a brief look over your shoulder, checking for your parents.
the beach was quieter than either of you expected. the waves rolled lazily onto the shore. ellie had kicked her shoes off, carrying them by the laces over one shoulder while she walked backwards in front of you and abby.
"you always invite strangers to the beach?" you asked.
"only the pretty ones." ellie grinned.
"you could've waited at least five minutes," abby groaned.
"what?" ellie shrugged. "it's true."
abby rolled her eyes, but the corner of her mouth twitched upward. you watched them bicker for another minute. it wasn't forced. they slipped over each other's sentences without thinking, arguing over things that didn't matter and finishing conversations they'd clearly been having for years.
"so."
"so?" ellie echoed.
"how long have you two been playing together?"
"since we were kids."
"tennis camp," abby added. you smiled to yourself. interesting. the three of you reached the shoreline, where the water barely lapped over your toes.
"do you actually like tennis?" abby looked over at you.
"what?" you blinked.
"a lot of people like winning," she shrugged. "they don't actually like tennis."
"i love tennis. i think about it all the time." you nudged a shell with your foot.
there was silence for a moment, then you glanced behind you. "i should probably go before my dad notices," you said, grabbing your shoes. "i'll see you at school, abby."
"wait, are you on facebook?" ellie bit her lip.
"what?" you looked at them.
"she's asking for your number," abby blurted. "so am i." she said. that was the most confident you'd seen her all night.
"you both want my number."
"mhm."
"something wrong?"
"okay, well i'm not a homewrecker," you motioned to the two of them with your finger.
"we don't live together," ellie grinned. abby huffed in amusement, and she buried her hands into her pockets. "it's an open relationship," she said dryly.
"hey, come hang with us later. you're at the margin, right? we're in the motel across from you. room 206," ellie offered.
"want me to come tuck you in?"
"we can just keep talking about tennis," abby added.
"...yeah, goodnight." you smirked, then turned on your heels.
"we have beer!" ellie called out after you, and you flashed a dry look over your shoulder before leaving.
âą ŰŤ × â§
you thought it over in your head. it was a bad idea, you knew it. but who would know? besides, they seemed to like you. maybe a little too much. you sucked in a breath, before knocking on the wooden door.
silence.
after a brief moment, you could hear them panicking to clean the room up. muttered curses and panicked whispers echoed through the hallway as they tried to make everything look presentable, then abby opened the door.
"...hi."
"hey," you greeted, then walked in as she let you inside. the motel room looked exactly how you'd imagined. two beds pushed together, two open racket bags, laundry scattered across the floor. you wandered further inside. ellie was sprawled across abby's bed.
"didn't think you'd come." she grinned.
"and miss out on free beer?"
abby snorted, and sat down next to her, but left some space in between them for you. you didn't take the bait yet, comfortable to lean against their dresser. you liked watching them. almost as much as you liked watching them play. ellie leaned forward, elbows on her knees.
"so."
"so?"
"you seeing anybody?"
abby shot her a look.
"what?" ellie defended.
"you can't just ask that," abby said, exasperated.
"i don't mind. and no, i'm not." you shrugged.
"see?"
"what about you two?" you looked between them.
"no." they answered at the same time.
"we're notâ"
"absolutely notâ"
the words came so easily that neither of them seemed to notice. you did. you watched them the same way you'd watched your opponents from across a net. trying to figure them out. finally, ellie looked back at you.
"so..." she rubbed the back of her neck. "can i get your number?"
"you're pushy tonight, aren't you, ells?" abby looked over immediately, flashing a look.
"heyâ"
"i'll make you a deal," that got both of their attention. "you two play tomorrow, right? singles?" they nodded. "i'll give my number to whoever wins." you leaned back against the dresser, crossing your arms.
"seriously?" ellie broke into a grin.
"seriously."
abby's competitive streak flashed across her face before she could hide it. you noticed it. exactly what you'd hoped for. ellie looked over at abby with a smirk.
"you hear that?"
"i heard."
"you nervous?"
"nope."
"you should be."
"i've beaten you before."
"not tomorrow."
the room suddenly felt smaller. you smiled. there it was. competition. the thing that made great players become exceptional ones. you picked your bag up from the floor.
"i should get going."
"already?" ellie frowned.
"you've got a match tomorrow." you walked toward the door before pausing, glancing back over your shoulder. "one more thing."
you looked from ellie to abby, and back again. the ease between them was undeniable. you smiled knowingly, and opened the motel room door.
"if i'm going to watch tomorrow," a grin tugged at the corner of your mouth. "give me something worth watching." then you left. neither of them spoke. for a long moment, the only sound in the room was the ceiling fan humming quietly in the background. ellie finally looked over at abby.
"you realize i'm kicking your ass tomorrow."
"we'll see."

OHHH SO MY DREAM LIFE đđ
your alarm goes off quietly just before the sun starts to rise. loud enough to wake you up, quiet enough to usually not wake your deep-sleeper wife
you reach for your phone quickly, stopping the horrible ringing sound. just as you start to climb out of your soft, floral sheets, a strong hand grabs you
âstayâ ellie mumbles, barely awake
a quiet laugh escapes you âi donât have time, i have to make yourââ
youâre suddenly being pulled in tight by two strong arms âIâll go to the deli, baby. stayâ she places a slow, soft kiss on your cheek
âbutââ you try
âno buts, i want you here âtil my alarmâ
âthe sourdough i made last nightââ
âstayâ
âi have to take the dogs outâ
ellie climbs over you, trapping you between her arms, smiling down at you âstayâ
âi canât. but i want a kiss firstâ you say, pushing yourself up on your elbows to reach her lips
she hums into the kiss like she was eager for it âyouâre really leaving me here all alone?â
you press your lips to hers again âyeah. I am. go back to sleep my love, breakfast will be ready by the time youâre upâ
ellie sighs and moves back to her side of the bed âsee you in an hourâ she says sleepily
you move to the kitchen as the sun starts to rise, letting the dogs out, lighting a few candles and opening the windows to let the fresh summer air in
your routine goes as normal, making ellieâs lunch, her favorite sandwich on your fresh sourdough, a fruit salad and a handwritten note, finished with a kiss on the paper
the oil in the pan sizzles loudly as you start on breakfast, the air smells like coffee, eggs and bacon, which summons your wife
sheâs in her big t-shirt and boxers, rubbing her eyes as she walks in, her hair is messy and out of place
âsmells amazingâ she mumbles as she yawns
âyou look adorableâ you tease. her arms wrap around your waist from behind as you stand at the stove, her chin rests on your shoulder
âIâm so luckyâ she whispers into the skin of your neck before placing a kiss
âIâm the lucky oneâ you say, putting the spatula down to turn around and kiss her
âi wanna take you out tonight, properlyâ ellie says, her hands run down your nightgown, squeezing your bottom teasingly
âoh yeah? where?â your hands move under her t-shirt, feeling her soft skin
âanywhere you want. wanna see you in pretty dress, itâs been too longâ her hands move up to your breasts, caressing them gently âso fuckinâ pretty, babyâ
you smile, shyly âgo get dressed, youâre gonna be late. breakfast is about to be readyâ
she groans softly âcanât believe i gotta go to work all day knowing youâre home looking so pretty for meâ
âi miss you when youâre gone, you knowâ you pout
âi got you two dogs and a cat, thatâs not enough?â
Hiii okay now that i know youâre taking requests!! I had always fantasized about coworker!Ellie (bc i got an new office job not too long ago LOL) and i keep thinking abt coworker ellie where when youve first started working she was then assigned as her trainer, but shes a little mean/ stern and even made you think she doesnât like you, but she does things that make you question how she sees you, helping you put a file away in a top shelf, bringing u your favorite snack from the break room, then telling you to âlock inâ, and when you have a question ellie purposely gives you no space and bends over your shoulder so close if you turned to look at her yall would be kissing
so then you get the courage to ask her out bc youâre developing a crush, and even tho you know she lowkey be flirting w all the girls in the office you cant help but wonder if tour moments where special(bc deep down ellie has had her eyes on you even longer than you have)
basically im asking if this story could be fluffy, flirty, suggestive at the start, and then rhey get together and ellie really turns into protective mode over whats hers LOL i hope rhis all made sense
Okay so this took me a hot minute to write because I've never ever touched an office job in all my years of working so I had to google and ask my butch for terms and shit to use that I mostly cut out by the end of it. I also could not stop picturing The Office / the Dunder Mifflin building when I was writing this so it was so hard to do this one seriously but I did get your follow up ask nonny which is why I pushed to finish this one for you tonight. I hope it doesn't disappoint!
The first thing you learned about Ellie Williams was that she was going to be a difficult trainer.
Your boss walked you over on your first morning. "Ellie's the best we've got, even if she'd never admit it." and Ellie barely looked up from her monitor.
"Pull up a chair," she said. "And donât touch anything."
The week that followed was brutal. She trained fast and clipped, zero patience for the fact that the software made no sense and every login had its own obscure password. "You already asked me that," she'd say, flat. You went home each night convinced Ellie Williams thought you were an idiot.
Which would've been survivable. Except she kept doing things.
Like the file that needed to go on the top shelf, the one you couldn't reach. A hand appeared over your shoulder, took it clean out of your grip, slid it into place. She didn't step back right away. "You could've asked," she said, right behind you.
Like the pretzels. You'd mentioned once that they were the superior break room snack. Three days later a packet appeared on your desk. No note. When you said thanks, she didn't stop typing. "For what?" she said.
Like the time you had a real question and she walked over, stood, leaned in over your shoulder to squint at your screen and did not stop at a reasonable distance. She kept coming until her breath was at your ear. "Yeah, see, you've got the wrong field-" If you turned your head even a little, your lips would touch.
You didn't turn your head.
"You got it?" she murmured.
"Got it," you said, to the screen.
She pushed off. "Cool. Lock in."
You started paying attention, and what you concluded was that Ellie was like that with everyone. She had made Dina from marketing snort-laugh at something that really wasnât that funny. She called the new salesgirl âtrouble.â She had a slow crooked half smile she handed out like it was free.
So it wasn't special. That's what you tried to convince yourself at least.
You should've left it there but then Thursday came, the afternoon had dragged into evening and office had gone quiet, it was just the two of you.
You walked over to where she was sitting at her desk. "I'm going to say something, and I need you to let me finish before you're mean about it."
"You're a little mean." You breathed. "I know you're like this with everybody. I've seen you. So you can tell me I've got it wrong and Iâll be normal, I swear. But I wanted to ask if you'd want to get dinner. With me."
"Took you long enough," she said after a silence that had lasted a beat too long for your liking.
"What?"
She leaned forward, elbows on her knees, and the smile came out, the real one. "You think I bring pretzels to everybody?"
"You were flirting with Dina yesterdayâ"
"Dinaâs engaged. To Jesse in accounting. I talk with Dina because weâre friends and nothing happens." Her eyes steadied on you. "You, I've just been standing too close to, hoping you'd notice."
"You made me think you didn't like me."
"Yeah." She winced, then went quiet, and the joking dropped out of her voice. "Here's the thing. You were the new girl. I was assigned to train you. You didn't know anybody, you couldn't exactly say no to me without it being weird and the last thing I wanted was to be the coworker who corners the fresh hire and freaks her out. Makes her dread coming in. That's- no. I'd rather sit on it forever than be that." She shrugged, small. "So I figured I'd wait. See if you ever did anything. Just... hope you'd get there on your own, so it was actually your call."
Your chest ached. "Is that why you were- well, like that?"
"That's a me thing," she admitted. "When I like someone and I've decided I'm not allowed to do anything about it, I get kind of-"
"Mean."
"Stern," she corrected. You laughed, and it cracked the whole thing open. She stood, came around the desk, stopped close, that same closeness, except now it had a name. "I've had my eye on you since your first morning. Just wasn't gonna make it your problem." She tilted her head. "So dinner? Come on, I know a place.â
The week after your first date the whole floor knew by lunch. Her hand found the small of your back in the cafe line. âWe're taking lunch,â she'd say. Not 'I'm.'
The new guy in sales didn't get the memo. He leaned on your desk one afternoon, laughing a little too warmly as you were coming back from the break room with a fresh cup of coffee. Ellie didn't say anything, she just materialised next you, looping an arm tightly around your waist, and looked at him with pure patience. "Hey. You need something? She's kind of busy."
He left. Quickly.
"You're ridiculous," you told her.
"He was in your space."
"He was three feet away."
"That's my three feet," Ellie said, with total conviction, and kissed your temple. "Lock in."
She walked you to your car every night after that. Even in the rain, hands shoved in your coat pockets like she owned them, dragging out the goodbye with a slow, safe for the work parking lot, makeout session against your car until you were both freezing. "Text me when you're home."
"It's a nine minute drive."
"A lot can happen in nine minutes." She'd tug you in by the pockets for another long kiss. "Text me."
You always did. She always texted back instantly, like she'd been holding the phone. âGood. see you tomorrow. Don't be late, I'll have your dumb pretzels.â

Thank you for that post, itâs very strange that *those* people are jumping through hoops saying âwell it was never said in the comic!â Red literally confirmed it. Thereâs a TikTok with the lesbian flag in the background with Lenore & Annabel, the audio for the TikTok itself is about lesbians. The pride art has the lesbian flag colors on it. And now, just like you pointed out, Red used the hashtag lesbian for the artwork. Lenore has shown no romantic attraction to men in the comic either, same with Annabel. To ship Lenore with a misogynistic man that wanted to âtameâ her is lesbophobia. Itâs incredibly harmful. And then to claim that you headcanon, the CANON lesbian as queer just to ship her with a man is wild. I also think itâs incredibly disgusting & harmful to claim a lesbian can date a man. No, they canât. Lesbians have no romantic attraction to men. Itâs so frustrating as a lesbian myself for nonlesbians to constantly disrespect a character whoâs so important for lesbian representation
i'm glad you felt safe enough to share this! I agree with every word you wrote
there's no harm in shipping as long as there is common sense, this ship feels like this image:
summary: you and harry are planning for your upcoming birthday party while simultaneously pissing peter off for the fun of it. requested by anon
warnings/tags: peter and readers usual bullshit, teasing, fucking w peter, i just had a lil fun with the request :)
a little tingling for my spidey senses series âĄ
masterlist // taglist // series masterlist
Spring semester started the way most things with Peter didâmessy and unresolved.
You and Harry were back in the dorm, sprawled across the couch with takeout containers open on the coffee table and a playlist humming from someoneâs phone that neither of you were paying attention to. The weird dance between you and Peter hadnât stopped over break. If anything, the distance had only made it worse. Texts that went unanswered for hours. Glances across campus that lasted too long. The occasional late-night âyou up?â that neither of you ever fully committed to. Harry had stopped asking direct questions weeks ago and switched to pointed looks instead.
Tonight he was in full planning mode.
âOkay, hear me out,â Harry said, pointing a half-eaten egg roll at you. âBowling. The whole experience. Ugly shoes, glow-in-the-dark pins, the whole thing. Then we hit that terrible karaoke place downtown and you sing something for once.â
You wrinkled your nose. âI am not singing.â
âItâs your birthday. You have to. Itâs the law.â
âItâs literally not.â
âIt should be.â Harry grinned. âFine. No karaoke. What about that rooftop bar with the overpriced drinks and the view of the city? We get dressed up, pretend weâre sophisticated, and you finally let me take pictures that arenât just you flipping me off.â
You considered it, chewing on the end of your chopsticks. âMaybe. As long as no one makes a big deal. I want low-key.â
âYou always say low-key and then end up dancing on a table by midnight.â
âThat was one timeââ
The front door opened.
Peter stepped in carrying a backpack and a plastic bag from the corner store, hair a little windswept, cheeks still pink from the cold. He took one look at the two of you on the couch and opened his mouth.
You and Harry kept talking like he wasnât there.
ââand if we do the rooftop thing,â you continued smoothly, âIâm picking the pregame shots.â
Harry nodded seriously. âDeal. But Iâm choosing the first round when we're there. And youâre not allowed to leave early just because someone requests that stupid song you don't like."
"Can I at least hide in the bathroom?"
"No."
Peter stood in the entryway for a full three seconds, keys still in his hand.
ââŚHello?â he said.
Neither of you looked over.
Harry reached for another egg roll. âIâm just saying, last time you claimed you were âtiredâ and then I found you on the roof of the science building at two in the morning with a bottle of wine. So forgive me for having trust issues.â
âThat was a science experiment,â you said.
Peterâs voice went higher. âWhat the fuck? Iâm standing right here.â
You finally glanced over, completely unimpressed. âOh. Hey.â
Harry gave a vague little wave without turning around. âWelcome home, roomie.â
Peter stared at both of you like youâd lost your minds. The plastic bag crinkled in his hand.
âUnbelievable,â he muttered, kicking the door shut behind him. âI leave for three hours and suddenly Iâm a ghost.â
You shrugged and turned back to Harry, already launching into another birthday idea, the corner of your mouth twitching just enough for Peter to catch it.
The dance was still very much on.
âŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤ
Peter disappeared into his room for maybe four minutes before the door opened again. Heâd changed into a soft hoodie and sweatpants, hair slightly flattened on one side like heâd run a hand through it in frustration. He leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed, and looked between the two of you on the couch.
âOkay,â he said. âWhatâs going on.â
You kept your eyes on Harry and reached for another piece of broccoli like Peter hadnât spoken.
Harry grinned. âSoon enough that you donât need the details.â
Peter pushed off the doorframe and walked closer, stopping on the other side of the coffee table. âI can help. I know places. Thereâs that new spot by the river that does private booths, or we could do something low-key at the apartment, orââ
âAh, no,â you and Harry said at almost the same time.
Peter blinked. âWhat do you mean ânoâ?â
You finally glanced up at him, expression perfectly bland. âWe mean no. As in, the plans are already being handled by people who donât make everything about themselves.â
Harry nodded solemnly. âItâs a very exclusive guest list.â
Peterâs mouth opened, then closed. âIâve been to every single one of your half-baked hangouts since freshman year.â
âAnd weâre evolving,â Harry said, stealing the last egg roll.
You hummed in agreement. âItâs really important to us.â
Peter stared at the two of you like he couldnât decide whether to be offended or impressed. The corner of his mouth twitched despite himself.
âYouâre both assholes,â he said.
âThank you,â you answered sweetly.
Harry raised his chopsticks in a little toast. âWe try.â
Peter exhaled through his nose, shook his head, and dropped onto the armchair across from the couch anyway, clearly not going anywhere. âFine. Be mysterious. Iâll just figure it out myself.â
You and Harry exchanged a quick, satisfied look.
Getting a rise out of him will never get old.
You turned fully toward Harry, voice light and conversational like Peter had already left the room.
âWhat about that axe-throwing place?â you asked. âThe one with the overpriced drinks and the guy who always tries to hit on you when youâre trying to concentrate on throwing?"
Harryâs face lit up. âOh my god, yes. We could make a whole night of it. Start there, then wander until we find somewhere with terrible live music."
Peter sat forward in the armchair. âI actually know the owner of that place. I could probably get us a discount or a private laneââ
You kept your eyes on Harry. âDo you think we should invite people from class or keep it small?â
âSmall,â Harry said immediately. âDefinitely small. Maybe just me and you?â
Peterâs voice got a little tighter. âIâm literally sitting right here.â
You hummed like you were considering something important. âWhat if we just stayed at home and made food? Watched a terrible movie marathon and drank until we passed out?â
Harry pointed at you with his chopsticks. âThatâs actually genius. Iâm bringing those cursed brownies again.â
âYou are not bringing the brownies. Last time you did that I was so high that I thought I was dying. â
âIt was a spiritual experience.â
Peter dragged a hand down his face. âYou two are doing this on purpose.â
You finally glanced at him, expression pure innocence. âDoing what?â
âIgnoring me. Talking around me. Acting like Iâm notââ
Harry cut in smoothly. âAnyway, if we stay home we should do a whole thing. Comfy clothes, horror movies, your favorite tequila.â
You nodded seriously. âI like the tequila option.â
Peter stared at both of you, clearly fighting a smile even as the annoyance won out. âI can cook, you know. Iâm actually good at it.â
You turned back to Harry as if Peter hadnât spoken. âWhat about going to one of those rage rooms? I have plenty of shit to get out of my system.â
âOh my god,â Harry said. âYes. Can you bring your own stuff there? I have some things from my Dad that need to be destroyed.â
Peter threw his hands up. âIâm right here. I have ideas. I have money. I have a car. Why are you both like this?â
You reached for your drink, took a slow sip, and looked at Harry again. âDo you think we should make a group chat for planning if we have anyone else join or just keep in between us?â
Harry grinned. âBetween us. Obviously.â
Peter let out a long, defeated groan and slumped back in the chair.
âI hate both of you,â he muttered.
You and Harry answered in perfect sync, sweet as anything.
âWe know.â
Peter lasted maybe ten more minutes of being frozen out before he muttered something under his breath and disappeared into his room, door clicking shut harder than necessary.
You waited a beat, then stood up and stretched.
âI have to pee,â you told Harry, already heading down the short hallway.
You were reaching for the bathroom door when a hand closed around your wrist and tugged.
Peter had the door to his room half-open. He pulled you in just far enough to get you against the wall, one palm flat beside your head, and kissed you like heâd been thinking about it the entire time he was being ignored. It was deep and a little frustrated, his mouth warm and insistent, the kind of kiss that said youâre driving me crazy on purpose. You let him. Your fingers curled into the front of his hoodie for a second as you kissed him back, slow and unhurried, just enough to make it clear you werenât exactly complaining.
Then you pressed a hand to his chest and eased him back.
âI actually do have to pee,â you said, voice calm, a little breathless. You smoothed the front of his hoodie like nothing had happened. âAnd relax. Youâre invited to the plans. Donât worry.â
Peter blinked at you, still close, mouth slightly shiny from the kiss.
You slipped past him into the bathroom and shut the door before he could form a response, leaving him standing in the hallway looking equal parts relieved and completely thrown.

The weeks that followed that night settled into a quiet, careful distance.
Peter was still next door. You still heard himâkeys in the lock at odd hours, the low murmur of his voice on the phone, the occasional soft thump of something heavy being moved. Sometimes, late at night, you could hear curious soft beepingâ always followed by a string of curses. Whatever he was building or researching, he kept it to himself.
He didnât disappear completely.
There were friendly waves in the hallway when your paths crossedâquick, almost shy, the same lopsided smile that never quite reached his eyes the way it used to. One morning you woke to the smell of sesame and the soft weight of a paper bag on your windowsill. Your favorite bagels, still warm, with the exact cream cheese you always ordered. No note. Just the quiet proof that he was still thinking about the small things.
You never went back into his apartment.
You told yourself it was because you didnât want to push. That night in the bath you had opened the doorâtold him you werenât scared, that you were there for whatever came next. He had held you like he believed it. But in the days after, he never quite stepped through that door again. The distance he kept felt deliberate. Protective. Like he was trying to put the version of himself that had lost control back in a box before it could touch you a second time.
So you pulled away too.
You stayed in your own space. Didn't leave the apartment and risk running into him in publicâ or worse running into him while he was working. Answered his hallway waves with small smiles of your own and didnât linger. The invitation you had offered stayed open, but you stopped standing in the doorway waiting for him to walk through it. It was easier that way. Safer. Or at least it felt like it should be.
But your mind never quite left him.
You caught yourself listening for his footsteps at night. Replaying the way his voice had gone soft in the bath when he admitted heâd liked you for a long time. The look on his face when the black had left his eyes and pure horror had taken its place. The bruises on your hips had faded to nothing, but the memory of his hands stayed under your skin like a tattoo.
Sometimes, when the apartment next door went quiet for too long, you wondered what he was working on so late. Whether the arachnid thing was still clawing at the edges of him. Whether he was winning.
You never asked.
You just stayed in your shell, the same way he stayed in his, and tried not to think about how much you still wanted him to knock.
âŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤâŤ
It started the way it had most nights since the distance settled between you.
You were alone in your apartment, lights low, the city humming faintly outside the window. Your mind had drifted to Peter againâhis hands, the way his voice had gone rough and mean when the spider took over. It felt shameful in a way. You really did not expect to get that turned on by the thought that he could do whatever he wanted with you and you would just⌠let him. Wanting him and not being allowed to reach for him left everything sharper.
You didnât bother with slow build-up tonight.
You were already soakedâslick coating your knuckles, dripping down onto the sheets beneath you. Two fingers curled inside the heat of your cunt while your free hand had shoved your shirt up under your chin so you could twist and tug at a nipple the way you kept imagining he would.
You thought about the night the spider had taken over himâthe way heâd bent you over the counter and fucked you like he was starving, the filthy praise that had spilled out of him while he used your body on the couch. You thought about the bruises heâd left on your hips and how theyâd faded too fast. You thought about the weeks of careful waves in the hallway, the bagels still warm on your windowsill, the late-night sounds of him working next door and never once knocking. The wanting had only gotten uglier with the silence. Your hips rolled up to meet every thrust of your hand, thighs trembling, breath coming in short, broken pants as the pressure coiled low and mean in your belly.
You were right thereâfingers buried deep, cunt clenching hard around the stretchâwhen the crash hit.
Something heavy slammed into the shared wall hard enough to make the plaster vibrate against your shoulder blades. Glass shattered. A raw, strained yell tore through the noise, unmistakable even muffled by the barrier between your apartments.
ââhelpâ!â
Peterâs voice. Tight with pain.
You were on your feet before the last syllable finished. No thought for consequences. You adjusted your underwear, slid your shirt back down and wiped your still glistening fingers across the fabric. You didnât stop for pants. Three steps across the hall, hand already on the unlocked knob, and you shoved the door open straight into whatever was waiting on the other side.
The door swung open on chaos.
Broken electronics littered the floorâsomething small and expensive reduced to shattered glass and exposed wiring. Peter stood in the middle of it, barefoot, dressed in an old soft t-shirt and a pair of dark sweatpants that hung low on his hips. His chest rose and fell too fast. And his eyesâŚ
Black. Completely. The reflective sheen was already there, pupils blown wide, the mean, hungry look locked on you the second you crossed the threshold.
You barely had time to take a breath before a thick strand of webbing shot from his wrist and wrapped tight around your bare waist. One sharp tug and you were yanked forward, stumbling straight into his space. His free hand caught you by the hipâfingers digging into the soft skin just above the waistband of your underwear and held you there.
âI heard you.â
His voice was low, layered, already half-gone to the thing under his skin. He leaned in, nose nearly brushing the side of your throat, and inhaled like heâd been waiting for the scent of you.
âYou gonna try to play it off? Act like you just happened to be up and racing over here half-naked because you were worried?â A soft, mean laugh left him. âCute. But Iâm smarter than that. And right now my senses are so fucking sharp I can hear your heartbeat from the other side of the wall. I heard every wet little sound your fingers made. Every soft, desperate noise you tried to keep quiet while you were touching yourself thinking about me.â
You opened your mouthâsome half-formed denial already on your tongueâbut he didnât let you get there.
âDonât.â His grip on your hip tightened. The webbing around your waist pulsed once, warm and sticky. âI smelled you too. How wet you got. How close you were. Youâve been aching for weeks and I felt every second of it. You thought you could hide from me? Avoid me? Think again little bug.â
He tipped your chin up with two fingers so you had no choice but to meet those black, reflective eyes.
âI knew exactly how to get you back over here. One crash. One yell. And look at youâyou look like a wreck. You didnât even stop to put pants on.â His mouth curved into something dark and delighted. âYou ran straight to me the second you thought I needed you. Just like I knew you would.â
The arachnid thing looked out at you through Peterâs face, hungry and amused and completely without apology.
âMissed me that bad, sweetheart?â
Peterâs mouth curved sharper at whatever he saw on your face.
You tried to counter him.
âYouâve been avoiding me since that night,â you shot back, voice steadier than the rest of you felt. The webbing around your waist was warm and tight, his fingers still digging into your hip hard enough to bruise. âYou didnât have to do all this. I told you I could help. I meant it.â
He laughedâlow, mean, almost fond in the ugliest way.
âHelpâ He repeated the word like it tasted sweet and rotten at the same time. âYou think I want your help with this?â One sticky hand left your hip to gesture vaguely at himselfâthe black eyes, the way fresh webbing still pulsed from his wrists in slow, involuntary strands. âThe spider problem?â
He leaned in until his mouth was right against your ear, breath hot.
âI donât want your help with that, sweetheart. I want you trapped. Just like this. Like my little bug that walked straight into the web because it couldnât stand not being there to help.â His teeth grazed the shell of your ear. âLook at how easy it was. One crash. One yell. And you came running with your cunt still wet like the desperate thing youâve been for weeks.â
The meanness landed exactly where he wanted it to.
Heat flooded low and sharp between your legs, fresh slick already threatening to drip down your thigh. Your pulse jumped under his fingers. He felt itâof course he didâand the sound he made was pure, cruel delight.
âThere it is,â he murmured, pulling back just enough to watch your face. âThat little spark. You can try to look pissed all you want. Doesnât change the fact that being mean to you gets you dripping. Doesnât change how fast you dropped everything the second you thought I needed you.â His thumb dragged slowly over the soft skin just above your underwear. âI barely had to try. And you still walked right into it.â
Peterâs black eyes glittered.
âSo tell me again how you were going to help me, little bug. While youâre standing here already caught.â
You opened your mouth to tell him offâsomething sharp, something that might cut through the black in his eyesâbut you never got the chance.
Peter moved too fast.
One hard shove and your back hit the wall with a force that knocked the air from your lungs. The webbing already wrapped around your waist stuck instantly to the plaster, thick and warm and greedy. It held you there, suspended just enough that your toes barely scraped the floor. You hung in place, chest heaving, while he stepped in close and looked at you like heâd just caught the most entertaining thing in the world.
Fresh strands shot from both wrists.
One pair snapped tight around your upper arms and pinned them hard to your sides. Another pair wrapped your ankles and yanked outward, forcing your legs apart until the stretch burned in your inner thighs. The silk was hot, almost feverish, and it contracted onceâdeliberateâlocking you open and helpless against the wall.
Peter laughed.
It was a low, delighted sound, completely without remorse. He tipped his head and studied the way you were spread for him, black eyes glittering with pure amusement.
âOh, look at that,â he murmured, voice dripping mean satisfaction. âAll that fire and you still end up stuck like this. Hanging there because the web decided it wanted to keep you.â He reached out and dragged two fingers slowly up the inside of your thigh, stopping just short of where you were already dripping again. âYou have no idea how fun this is for me right now.â
He leaned in until his mouth was almost against yours, the reflective black of his eyes the only thing you could see.
âWhere do you think the Peter you knew went, little bug? Buried somewhere under all this?â A soft, cruel huff of laughter brushed your lips. âMaybe. Or maybe this is just what happens when he stops fighting so hard. Either wayâŚâ His fingers finally pressed against the soaked crotch of your underwear, rubbing once, slow and deliberate. âYouâre not going anywhere. And I am going to take my time enjoying the fact that you walked right back into my web.â
He pulled his hand away and licked the wetness off his fingers without breaking eye contact, still smiling that mean, hungry smile.
The real Peter felt very far away.
He started slow on purpose.
Two fingers pressed against the soaked crotch of your underwear and dragged upward in a lazy, deliberate stroke, the wet cotton clinging to every fold. He watched your face the entire time, black eyes half-lidded and mean with amusement as he rubbed tight circles over your clit through the fabric. The pressure was just enough to make your hips twitch against the webbing that held you open, just enough to pull a soft, frustrated sound out of your throat.
âListen to that,â he murmured. âAlready so vocal and I havenât even touched skin yet.â He pressed harder, the damp cloth dragging over swollen nerves until your thighs strained against the silk pinning them apart. âThese are ruined. Completely soaked through. All that time you spent touching yourself next door and youâre still this desperate the second I get my hands on you.â
The teasing lasted maybe thirty seconds before the patience dissipated.
Peter hooked his fingers under the waistband and ripped. The fabric gave with a sharp, wet tear, and the ruined scrap of underwear came away in his hand. He didnât toss it aside. He crumpled the soaked cotton in his fist, brought it briefly to his nose like he was savoring the scent of you, then shoved it deep into the back pocket of his sweatpants with a satisfied little hum.
âMine now.â
Then his fingers were backâtwo of them, thick and unapologeticâsliding into you in one smooth, relentless push. The stretch burned. Your cunt clenched hard around the sudden intrusion and he laughed under his breath, already curling them against that spot that made your vision spark.
He didnât ease up.
Peter finger-fucked you hard and deep, the wet, filthy sounds of it filling the quiet apartment as he worked you open against the wall. Every thrust of his hand drove a broken noise out of you. The webbing around your arms and waist held you perfectly still for it, legs forced wide so he could watch every time his fingers disappeared inside you.
âThatâs it,â he said, voice low and mean and almost fond. âTake it. Look how easy you open up when youâre stuck like this. No fighting. No running. Just my fingers fucking this pretty cunt until you make a mess all over them.â He added a third finger without warning and the stretch punched a cry from your throat. âGonna keep going until you come on my hand. And I wanna hear you scream.â
His thumb found your clit and pressed down hard, rubbing tight, merciless circles while his fingers kept slamming into you at a pace that left no room to breathe.
The spider looked out at you through Peterâs face, hungry and delighted, and it had no intention of slowing down.
A fourth finger pressed against your already stretched entrance and pushed in alongside the others. The burn was immediateâsharp, deep, almost too muchâyet it rolled straight into heat that made your toes curl against the empty air. Your cunt fluttered hard around the thick intrusion, trying to pull him deeper even as the stretch edged into delicious pain. He watched every flicker of it on your face, black eyes gleaming with cruel satisfaction.
âThere we go,â he murmured, voice low and filthy. âLook at that. Four fingers and youâre still trying to suck me in. Greedy little thing.â He worked them deeper, knuckles pressing against your entrance with every slow, deliberate thrust. The wet sounds were obsceneâslick and rhythmic, filling the quiet apartment as he fucked you open against the wall. âYouâre stretched so wide for me. I can feel you shaking. Does it hurt? Or does it just make you wetter?â
Your answer came out broken. The webbing held you perfectly still for himâarms pinned, legs forced apart, waist stuck to the plasterâso there was nowhere to go when he curled all four fingers hard against that spot and kept them there, rubbing in relentless, grinding circles.
âThatâs the spot, isnât it?â He leaned in, mouth brushing your ear, breath hot. âThe one that makes you forget how to talk. Iâm going to keep pressing it until you break. Until this pretty cunt has no choice but to soak my entire hand.â
The pressure built too fast. Your thighs trembled against the silk restraining them. Every nerve felt lit up, oversensitive, the stretch of four fingers turning every movement into a thick, overwhelming drag that left you gasping. Peterâs thumb found your clit again and rubbed tight, merciless circles in time with the deep thrusts of his hand.
âCome on,â he goaded, mean and soft at the same time. âI can feel how close you are. Youâre fluttering around my fingers like youâre already about to lose it. Do it. Squirt for me again. I know you can do it. Make a mess of the hand thatâs fucking you open.â
It hit like a wave.
Your whole body locked up as the orgasm tore through youâcunt clenching hard around the thick stretch of his fingers while you squirted, a hard, pulsing rush of wetness that spilled over his hand, his wrist, down his forearm in messy streaks. The sound you made was raw and animalistic. Peter groaned like it was the best thing heâd ever felt and kept working you through it, fingers still moving, still curling, dragging every last spurt out of you until your legs were shaking and fresh tears of overstimulation pricked at the corners of your eyes.
He finally slowed, but he didnât pull out.
Four fingers stayed buried deep while he looked down at the mess youâd made of him, black eyes bright with pure, mean delight.
âOh, sweetheart.â He lifted his free hand and slowly licked a stripe of your release off his own wrist, never breaking eye contact. âYou just fucking flooded me. Look at the state of my arm. All because I stretched this tight little cunt open and told it what to do.â A soft, cruel laugh left him.
The fight had already left your body somewhere between the fourth finger and the way heâd licked your release off of himself. Maybe if you just let this version of him burn through whatever was clawing under his skin, the real Peter might surface again. The one who had held you in the bath. The one who had looked horrified when the black left his eyes. You could try to reach him after. You could try.
Peter didnât notice the quiet shift in youâor if he did, he only found it more entertaining.
He tipped his head, studying the way you hung open and wrecked against the wall, and made a soft, thoughtful sound.
âWhere nextâŚâ he murmured, almost to himself. One sticky hand stroked up the inside of your thigh, smearing the mess heâd already forced out of you. âCounter was fun last time. Couch too. But youâve already been on the wall.â His black eyes flicked upward, and a slow, mean smile spread across his face. âCeiling it is.â
The webs around your waist and limbs released with a wet snap. Before you could drop he caught you, spun you, and launched a fresh burst of silk that stuck hard to the ceiling. Another sharp pull and you were hauled upward, stomach pressed flat to the cool plaster, arms stretched out along your sides and webbed tight, legs forced close together and pinned the same way. Your head fell back, hair hanging, the entire apartment suddenly upside down. Blood rushed in your ears. The world tilted.
Peterâs clothes hit the floor in two careless motions.
Then he crawled.
Hands and feet stuck to the wall with that same unnatural ease, he scaled the vertical surface like it was nothing, sweatpants and shirt left in a heap below. When he reached you he settled between your forced-together thighs from behind, the thick, hard length of him dragging through the slick mess between your legs. The angle was differentâyou felt impossibly full. Your legs being pinned so close made every inch of him feel thicker as he lined up and pushed in.
The stretch punched a broken sound out of your throat.
Peter groaned like heâd just sunk into the best heat of his life and bottomed out in one slow, deliberate thrust. The position left you completely at his mercyâhead hanging, world inverted, cunt gripping him in a vice because there was nowhere for your thighs to open.
âFuck,â he breathed against the back of your shoulder, voice pure filth. âEven better like this. Look at you. Stuck to my ceiling with your pretty cunt wrapped around me and nowhere to go.â He pulled almost all the way out and slammed back in, the wet sound of it loud in the quiet room. âI can feel every flutter. Every time you try to adjust. Youâre just going to take it exactly how I give it.â
He set a deep, rolling pace, hips snapping forward bouncing off the curve of your ass while the webbing held you perfectly still for every thrust. The inverted angle made everything sharperâthe drag of his cock, the way your own wetness dripped upward toward your stomach, the dizzy rush of blood in your head every time he bottomed out.
Peterâs mouth found the side of your throat, teeth grazing as he fucked into you from behind.
âStill hoping the nice version of me shows back up?â he murmured, mean and breathless against your skin. âKeep hoping, little bug. I don't think he wants to play right now.â
Peter fucked into you harder.
Every thrust drove your stomach against the ceiling with a force that made the plaster groan. A sharp crack split the surface right beside your shoulder. White dust sifted down past your hanging face. He didnât slow. He just laughedâlow and delightedâand shot a thick burst of webbing over the fracture, sealing it shut in one careless motion before slamming back into you like nothing had happened.
âOops,â he murmured against the back of your neck, voice pure mean amusement. âCeilingâs not built for this. Neither are you, but youâre taking it anyway.â
You let the words wash over you without answering.
Somewhere under the dizzy rush of blood in your head and the thick, relentless stretch of him, a small, stubborn part of you was still waiting. Waiting for the rhythm to break. For the black in his eyes to flicker. For the real Peterâthe one who looked at you from afar and left you your favorite bagels and just caredâto claw his way back up through whatever this was. You had stopped fighting for exactly that reason. If you just let this version burn itself out, maybe the man you knew would surface again.
And you didn't exactly hate what was happening to you right now.
The webbing around your hips loosened just enough.
His hand snaked in front of your body, sticky fingers finding your clit with perfect accuracy. He rubbed tight, filthy circles in time with every deep thrust. The dual sensation was almost too muchâhis cock stretching you from behind while his fingers worked the swollen bundle of nerves that had already been oversensitive for too long. Your body responded helplessly, cunt clenching around him, wetter with every cruel stroke of his fingers. Traitorous. Even now.
âThatâs it,â he goaded, breath hot against your skin. âI can feel you getting closer. Youâre gonna come on my cock while Iâm buried in you, arenât you? Do it. Take me with you.â
It hit both of you at once.
Your orgasm tore through firstâcunt locking down around him in hard, pulsing waves as you cried out, the sound echoing oddly in the upside-down room. The tight, rhythmic squeeze pulled him over the edge a heartbeat later. Peter groaned low and filthy against your shoulder, hips stuttering as he came deep inside you, thick heat spilling into you in long pulses while his fingers kept rubbing your clit through every tremor.
For a few seconds the only sound was the two of you breathing hard, still locked together against the ceiling.
In that thin, fragile quiet, hope flaredâstupid and bright. The shared finish. The way his body had shuddered against yours like it still knew how to match you. Maybeâ
Then he laughed.
The sound was soft and cruel and completely without mercy. He nuzzled the side of your throat like he was savoring the way your pulse jumped under his mouth.
âAww,â he cooed, mocking. âWe finished at the same time. How fucking cute. You were hoping that would bring him back, werenât you?â His fingers finally stilled on your clit, but he didnât pull out. He stayed buried to the hilt, letting you feel every twitch of his cock as he softened just slightly inside you. âHold on to that hope little bug. Makes this all the more enjoyable.â
He tipped your hanging head further back with two sticky fingers so he could look at your upside-down face.
The black in his eyes was still absolute.
Something in your chest tightened, then went quiet.
The hope didnât vanish all at once. It just⌠dimmed. Folded in on itself under the weight of that mocking smile and the unbroken darkness staring back at you. You had wanted so badly to believe the real him was still reachable. That the man who had confessed he liked you for years, who had washed your hair with careful hands, was only buriedânot gone.
Peterâs mean, satisfied expression made the truth feel colder.
âSorry, little bug. Heâs not here right now.â A slow, cruel smile curved his mouth. âItâs just me. And Iâm not done playing with you yet.â
You closed your eyes against the inverted room and let the last of that fragile hope slip away, as Peter chose the bed next on purpose.
The webbing released with a series of wet snaps. He caught you before you could fall, carried you the short distance, and dropped onto the mattress with you straddling his hips. The position was deliberateâyour knees on either side of him, his cock already hard again and sliding through the mess of his own release still dripping out of you. He settled you over him exactly the way he had that first night, when the black had finally left his eyes and the real Peter had surfaced underneath you.
He knew what he was doing.
âFamiliar?â he asked, voice dripping mockery as he gripped your hips and pushed up into you in one slow, deep thrust. The stretch pulled a broken sound from your throat. âThis is how he came back last time, isnât it? You on top. Him underneath. Soft little moment after he finished using you.â He fucked up into you harder, watching your face. âAre you sad little bug? Because your Peter isn't the one fucking you stupid? Spider got your tongue?"
Something in you finally snapped.
âFuck you,â you bit out, hands bracing against his chest as he drove up into you. Your voice came out rough, meaner than you expected. âYou think this is funny? Dragging me around your apartment like a sex doll and then putting me here just to remind me he left?â You rolled your hips down to meet his next thrust, deliberately tight, trying to take some of the control back. âYouâre not him. Youâre just the thing wearing his face and getting off on how much I still want the real one.â
Peterâs eyes flashedâblack and delighted.
âThere she is,â he laughed, mean and breathless. His hands locked harder around your hips, fingers digging into the bruise marks from earlier as he snapped up into you with new force. âThereâs the little spark. You finally got mean back. Took you long enough.â He thrust up again, deeper, the wet sound of it filthy in the quiet room. âKeep going. Tell me how much you hate that itâs me fucking this cunt instead of him. Oh you're going to be so disappointed when it's just you and him. Tell me how badly you wish the soft version would climb back out and apologize.â
You glared down at him, even as your body clenched around every upward snap of his cock.
âI do hate it,â you shot back. "I hate that you know exactly how to make me come and you use it like a weapon. And I hate that the second you decide youâre done playing, heâll have to look at what you did.â
Peterâs smile turned sharper. He planted his feet and fucked up into you harder, using the position to drive the air from your lungs with every thrust.
âGood,â he growled, voice pure filth and cruelty. âHate me. Fight me. It just makes you hotter.â One hand left your hip to wrap loosely around your throat, not squeezing at full capacity, just holding you in place while he used your body from below. âYouâre soaked for the version of him that doesnât care if youâre hoping. The version that wants you trapped and dripping and talking back like it might change anything.â He thrust up particularly deep and held there, grinding against you. âSpoiler, little bugâit wonât. Heâs not coming back until Iâm finished. And I am nowhere near finished with this cunt.â
He kept fucking up into you, mean and relentless.
You kept trying to talk.
Every sharp retort came out brokenâhalf a sentence, a curse, a breathless jab at the thing wearing Peterâs faceâonly to be punched out of you by the next deep upward thrust. He fucked into you like he was trying to carve space for himself, each stroke stealing the air from your lungs and leaving you gasping against his chest.
âStill trying to run that pretty mouth,â Peter snarled, mean and breathless beneath you. One hand stayed locked on your hip hard enough to bruise; the other shoved between your bodies, nimble fingers finding your clit and rubbing in tight, filthy circles. âKeep going. Tell me how much you hate the version of him thatâs balls-deep in this soaked little cunt. Tell me while youâre about to fucking squirt all over me again.â
The dual sensation was brutal. His cock stretching you deep from below while his fingers worked your clit with merciless precision. Your thighs started to shake. The words died in your throat, replaced by raw, helpless sounds you couldnât swallow back.
âThatâs itâright there,â he goaded, black eyes locked on your face. âI can feel this greedy cunt fluttering. Youâre gonna make a mess of me. Do it. Squirt on my cock like the desperate little fucktoy you are.â
It hit like a punch.
Your orgasm ripped through you hardâcunt clamping down in violent, pulsing waves as you squirted, a hot rush of wetness spilling over his cock and stomach in messy streaks. The force of it left you shaking, breath gone, forehead dropping against his shoulder while aftershocks kept milking him.
Peter groaned like heâd been waiting for exactly that.
âFuckâyes. Soak me. Just like that.â His hips snapped up harder, chasing his own edge now that you were clenching and dripping around him. âTaking every inch while you come your brains out. Look at the state of youâshaking, dripping, still trying to hate me.â A few more deep, punishing thrusts and his rhythm broke. He buried himself to the hilt with a low, guttural sound and came hard, flooding you in thick, pulsing ropes while his fingers kept rubbing your oversensitive clit through it.
He stayed inside you through every spurt, grinding up against the mess heâd just made.
Then he moved.
He pulled free and immediately shot a thick, precise burst of webbing straight against your entrance. The silk was hot and sticky and sealed you shut in one deliberate motion, trapping everythingâhis fresh come, your slick, the mess of the orgasm heâd forced out of youâdeep inside.
âThere,â he said, voice pure filthy satisfaction as he looked at the sealed mess between your legs. âAll plugged up. Every drop of me locked inside this pretty cunt where it belongs. Youâre going to stay full and dripping on the inside while I use that mouth next.â
Fresh webbing shot from his wrists before you could react.
It wrapped your wrists tight and yanked them behind your back, then looped around your upper arms and torso, forcing your shoulders back. Another set of strands caught your ankles and calves, binding them together. One firm pull and he dragged you off the bed entirely, dropping you hard onto your knees on the floor between his spread thighs. Your plugged cunt throbbed. Your hands were useless behind you. The only thing left free was your mouth.
Peter sat on the edge of the mattress, cock still hard, shiny with the combined mess of both of you. He reached down, fisted a hand in your hair, and tipped your face up so you had no choice but to meet those black, reflective eyes.
âOpen,â he ordered, mean and calm. âYouâve been talking so much shit. Time to put that mouth to better use.â He dragged the head of his cock across your lips, smearing them with the slick evidence of what heâd just done to you. âYouâre going to suck me clean. Every inch. And youâre going to do it while that webbing keeps my come trapped inside you like a good little toy who knows her place.â
His grip in your hair tightened, not quite forcing you down yetâjust holding you there, waiting to see if youâd fight or open for him.
âGo on, little bug. Show me how well you can take cock when youâre already full and sealed shut.â
Something in you finally broke.
The constant mockery, the deliberate cruelty, the way he kept twisting every soft memory into something filthy and meanâit all stacked up until the only thing left was pure, sharp anger. You were done. Done being the little bug. Done hoping. Done letting whatever this thing was wear Peterâs face and use your body like it owned the right.
So you bit.
Hard.
Your teeth sank into the sensitive flesh of his cock without hesitation, deep enough to draw a raw, startled sound out of him. Whatever he was right now, he could take it. You wanted him to feel it.
The reaction was instant and violent.
Peterâs hand left your hair. Both palms hit your shoulders and shoved. The webbing around your arms and legs snapped under the force as you were thrown backward. You hit the floor hard, right in the middle of the shattered electronics and broken glass from earlier. Sharp edges bit into your palms, your hip, the side of your thigh. Pain flared white-hot. Blood welled immediatelyâthin red lines cutting across your skin and dripping onto the debris.
You pushed up onto one elbow, breath ragged, and looked at him.
Peter had staggered back against the edge of the bed, one hand clamped over himself, chest heaving. For a second the black in his eyes was absolute, furious, predatoryâ
Then it flickered.
A sharp, human sound left his throat. His pupils contracted. The reflective sheen cracked like ice under pressure. He stared at the blood on your skin, at the way you were still half-bound and bleeding on his floor, and something raw and horrified tore across his face.
âNoââ
The word came out strangled, half his voice, half the thing still fighting underneath. His hands flexed at his sides like he didnât trust them. Fresh webbing leaked from his wrists in uncontrolled pulses, but he didnât aim it at you. He looked sick. He looked like he was drowning.
âIâfuck, I threw youââ His voice cracked, the mean edge gone, replaced by something panicked and familiar. âYouâre bleeding. I made you bleed.â
The black tried to surge back. You watched him wrestle it down in real timeâjaw clenched, eyes squeezing shut, every muscle in his body locked in a visible war. When he opened them again the darkness was still there, but it was no longer alone. The real Peter was clawing upward through it, staring at the damage heâd done like it was the worst thing he had ever seen.
âStay down,â he forced out, voice shaking, still not fully his. âDonâtâdonât come closer. I canât⌠I donât know which one of me is speaking right now.â
Blood dripped from your palm onto the broken glass.
For the first time in hours, the thing wearing Peterâs face looked terrified of itself.
Peter looked like he was coming apart.
He stayed backed against the bed, one hand still pressed over himself, the other braced on the mattress like he needed it to stay upright. His eyes kept flickeringâblack to brown to black againâlike two versions of him were trying to occupy the same body and neither was winning cleanly. Ohh
âThis is why,â he forced out, voice raw and cracking. âThis is exactly why I stayed away. Why I left the bagels and just waves and left you alone. I knew it was getting worse. I knew the second I let myself get close to you again it would stop being me.â He dragged a shaking hand through his hair, leaving a streak of silk behind. âI threw you into glass. Youâre bleeding because of me. Because I couldnât keep the darkness down.â
His gaze locked on the red welling across your palm and thigh, and something close to panic flashed across his face.
âYou need to go. Right now. Get out of this apartment and lock your door and donât open it no matter what you hear.â The words came out sharp, almost desperate. âI donât care if I sound like him when I say itâleave. I canât trust what Iâll do if you stay.â
You didnât move.
Blood dripped steadily from your hand onto the broken glass, but you stayed exactly where you were, still half-bound, still breathing hard, staring at the man fighting himself in front of you.
âNo,â you said.
Peterâs head snapped up. The black surged hard in his eyes for a second, then receded under what looked like pure, human fear.
âDonâtâdonât do that. Donât be brave right now. Iâm not safe. The thing that just used you and mocked you and threw you is still right here under my skin and it wantsââ His voice broke. He squeezed his eyes shut, jaw clenched so tight a muscle jumped. âPlease. Iâm asking you. Go.â
You shifted onto your knees carefully, glass crunching under you, and kept your voice steady even though your pulse was still hammering.
âIâm not leaving.â You met his flickering gaze without flinching. âYou donât get to decide that for me. Not after everything. The real you is still in thereâI saw him. I saw the way you looked when you realized I was bleeding. That wasnât the spider. That was you.â
Peter let out a shaky, broken sound. More webbing spilled from his wrists and hit the floor with soft, wet impacts. He was trembling now, every muscle locked in the effort of holding the darkness back.
âYou donât know what it feels like,â he whispered. âItâs louder every day. Hungrier. And when youâre near it gets so much worse because it already decided youâre mine and I canâtââ He cut himself off, breathing hard. âI donât want to hurt you again. I canât live with that.â
âThen donât,â you said simply. âFight it. Iâm right here. Iâm not running. Look at me and come back.â
You stayed on your knees in the glass and the blood, refusing to look away, giving the real Peter something solid to reach for while the darkness tried to drag him under again.
You moved closer.
Glass bit into your knees and the side of one palm as you shifted forward across the debris. Blood ran warmer now, steady lines tracking down your wrist and the outside of your thigh, dripping onto the broken glass and glittering fragments beneath you. You didnât look at it. You didnât care. Your eyes stayed locked on Peterâs faceâon the war still happening behind his flickering eyes.
He tensed hard when you closed the distance, fresh webbing pulsing from his wrists in a sharp, involuntary burst that stuck to the floor between you.
âStop,â he rasped. âYouâre bleeding and youâre still coming closer. You need medical attention. Pressure on the cuts. Iâ I don't know. Anything but being around me. Pleaseââ
âIt decided Iâm its,â you said, voice low and steady even as another drop of blood left your hand. âThatâs what you keep saying. The spider. The darkness. It already claimed me. But what about you?â You held his gaze without flinching. âWhat have you decided, Peter? Because youâve spent weeks running from me, like the only option was to lock it down so hard it never got near me again.â
His breath hitched. The black in his eyes surged, then receded under something rawer.
You kept going, softer but no less direct.
âWhat if thatâs why itâs so feral when Iâm around? What if the constant fightingâthe way you keep trying to shove it down and pretend it isnât part of youâis exactly whatâs making it worse every time I get close? Like itâs starving and angry because you wonât let it have any air.â You shifted another inch nearer, close enough now that the heat of him reached your skin. âMaybe it doesnât need you to lose. Maybe it just needs you to stop treating it like the enemy long enough to figure out how to live with it.â
Peter stared at you like youâd just reached into the middle of the war inside him and touched something vital.
His hands flexed. The reflective sheen in his eyes kept fracturing, brown bleeding through in unstable waves. He looked terrified of the idea and desperate for it at the same time.
âYou donât know what youâre asking me to risk,â he whispered. The voice was almost fully his nowâwrecked, shaking, but his. âIf I stop fighting it the way I have⌠if I let any of it stayâŚâ
He couldnât finish the sentence.
You kept your voice quiet, almost conversational, like the blood on the floor and the war in his eyes werenât the loudest things in the room.
âWhat were you trying to make?â you asked. âAll those late nights. The sounds through the wall. What was it?â
Peter blinked, thrown by the sudden shift. For a second the question seemed to short-circuit the spiral heâd been trapped in. His gaze flicked toward the workbench in the cornerâscattered tools, half-disassembled devices, notebooks open to dense pages of formulasâthen back to you.
âAn inhibitor,â he said roughly. âSomething that might dampen the arachnid side. Slow the takeover. Give me enough control that I wouldnât⌠that I wouldnât become this every time you got close.â He swallowed hard. âI thought if I could just build the right formula, the right delivery system, I could keep you safe without having to stay away forever.â
You nodded once.
âThatâs a good idea.â
Then you reached out.
Your bloodied hand settled lightly on his knee. Red smeared across his legâ warm and unmistakableâ dripping freely. Peter went rigid under the contact. The black surged hard in his eyes for one sharp, dangerous secondâhungry, possessive, furious at the sight of your blood on himâ
âand then it cracked.
A broken sound left his throat. The reflective sheen shattered. His whole body seemed to fold in on itself as the last of the darkness lost its grip. He grabbed your wrist like it was the only solid thing left in the world and collapsed forward, forehead pressing hard against your shoulder, arms coming around you with desperate, shaking force.
âIâm sorryââ The words tumbled out of him in a wrecked, continuous stream. âIâm so fucking sorry. I hurt you. I threw you. I said those things and I used you and I watched you bleed and I couldnât stop itâ Iâm sorry, Iâm sorry, Iâm sorryââ
His shoulders shook. Fresh, uncontrolled webbing leaked from his wrists and stuck harmlessly to your back as he clung to you, face buried against your neck, repeating the apology like it might undo any of it if he said it enough times.
The real Peter was back.
And he was falling apart in your arms.
Until he forced himself to pull it together.
The full-body shaking didnât stop all at once, but he managed to sit back enough to look at you properly. His eyesâclear brown again, red-rimmed and wreckedâscanned every visible inch of you with frantic care. The blood on your palms and thigh. The glass still clinging to your skin. The way you were still half-naked and marked from everything the other version of him had done.
âOkay,â he whispered, more to himself than to you. âOkay. Iâve got you.â
He stood on unsteady legs, scooped you up as carefully as if you might shatter, and carried you to the bed. The sheets were a mess of earlier webbing and come, but he lowered you onto the clearest spot he could find, supporting your head and back the entire way down. His hands never stopped movingâchecking, adjusting, making sure nothing pressed against the cuts.
âIâm going to take the webbing off,â he said, voice low and tight with leftover guilt. âJust⌠stay still for me. Please.â
He knelt between your knees and worked with deliberate gentleness. The silk sealing your entrance had already started to dry at the edges. Peter coaxed it free with slow, patient fingers, murmuring soft apologies the entire time like the removal itself might hurt you. When the plug finally gave, a warm rush of everything heâd left inside you spilled out onto the sheets. He didnât look away. He just kept apologizing under his breath while he reached for a clean cloth.
He cleaned you with the same careful attentionâwarm water, soft pressure, never lingering longer than necessary on the places that were still oversensitive. Every pass of the cloth came with another quiet âIâm sorry.â When he finished between your legs he moved to the cuts, picking out the tiny shards of glass with tweezers from the first-aid kit he kept under the bed, then disinfecting and bandaging the worst of them on your palm and thigh.
âI did this,â he said while he taped gauze over the deepest slice on your hand. His voice cracked again. âI let it get that far. Iâm so fucking sorry.â He smoothed the last piece of medical tape down with trembling fingers, then sat back on his heels, still staring at the bandages like they were proof of every failure. âI never wanted you to see me like that again. I never wanted to make you bleed.â
Peter stayed kneeling there beside the bed, one hand resting lightly over the gauze on your thigh, continuing to apologize in a soft, broken loop even as he finished patching you up. The darkness was gone.
