17. Do you regularly discuss your fics, or do you keep most of the info to yourself before you start posting?

I mostly keep to myself, though I have a few friends that I'll pester to help out plot holes depending on what fandom i'm writing lol and then once i start writing, i'll post snippets now and then until I'm finished, then it's posting time. But I generally don't get people asking about in progress fics, so that's largely why I don't discuss them LOL

20. What made you start writing?

oh god what a question. So my sister and I had made paper dolls out of JPGs of our favorite anime characters back in the day (escaflowne and digimon 02 baybeeee) and spent SO much time playing with those. It probably started from there, though I also read a LOT of high fantasy (dragon lance and forgotten realms, and narnia and lotr) when I was in 6th/8th grade. Talk about formative years LOL

Also, in my elementary school, there was a yearly thing where we would write a short story and then turn it into a book (I am unlocking this memory as I type), and I think that went into 7th/8th grade as well I can't remember and TBH!!! I got SO MUCH joy from that, I think that is genuinely where it started

How many WIPS do you currently have?

Uh for fic, I think about 7 that I plan on actively working on! 3 for the FicWip 5k event, 1 for the Femslash Bang, and 3 just for myself :)

(For original projects, i think I got 5 lmao)

7. What fic are you the proudest of?

Uh probably tied between "far from the world that i made" (my love letter to rebels, just had a lot of fun exploring Sabine, Eli, and Ezra's characters, and the series as a whole makes me feel SO good about having written it), and "tiny cracks of light" (the magnus archives sashavist fantasy AU, I super love how I just combined a lot of references from canon into a new setting, that's one of my favorite things about long-fic aus, but this one is just my favorite)

21. What is something that no one has caught about one of your fics?

Um, genuinely, I'm not sure, readers will actually catch things that I wasn't aware of when writing because I get so in the zone and then they'll come back and go "i love how x parallels y" or just "great foreshadowing" and it's like, yes subconsciously I knew what i was doing to make that happen, but I didn't actively set out to do it. I have very smart readers, and I'm not a very "hehe tricked them" sort of writer LOL
