“Hey, Nii-san… Have you ever thought about a hair cut?” 

“Hm?” his eyes graced the child’s wide inquisitive ones, a delicate brow raising at the innocuous question. “Not particularly – I like my hair.”

“Just imagine if you tried reimagining yourself, Nii-san!” The child was exceedingly delighted, staring up with out-stretched arms. Orbital-7 may or may not have slipped in allowing Haruto to watch a marathon concerning the revamping one’s fashion sense. For better style, of course—something the boy thought his sibling could benefit from.

“Maybe then you can get a date!”

Operation: Find Kaito Tenjō

In a single night, Doctor Faker is murdered, Heartland tower sent ablaze, and Kaito Tenjō vanishes. Bound only by the mutual concern Haruto’s wellbeing, Christopher and Mizael join together to raise and care for the remaining Tenjō brother while trying to maintain an awkward peace between them. But when Academia invades, Chris, Mizael, and the now-teenage Haruto find themselves acting as an odd team with one goal: Finding Kaito and bringing him back alive.

              Eh–

 There was a sick elation feeling your own hands destroy something. At that moment when the fire was spreading, burning, and consuming everything that had once been, her hands had felt oddly heavy. Not that they should have been, however. Destruction was a friendly ghost inside of her; it gave a misplaced sense of security in her actions.

 Ima loved peace. But, oh, she loved it when things were out of place, chaos and any of its synonyms. There was beauty in the disruption. Spontaneous, unadulterated beauty.

 It was a mistake. It was an error to have taken the Fusion Dimension’s individual by the hand and be brought into their methods and overzealous, chaotic nature. But, damn, she hadn’t felt so free of consequences and exhilarated in a long time.

 With the soft, innocent lights of amusement park quickly fading into sharp, licking flames, there was a thin line of regret that was shining through to her. Just a tiny spark. To which her messed up side immediately stamped out before it could spread out and allow the fun to be diminished. However, Ima did stop her feet from following the other Fusion users for but a moment. It was just a quick halt to admire the effort.

 How sick amazing.

 A smirk tugged at the corners of her lips. Something inside her felt dirty. Wow. Look at the conclusion of it all. So awfully impressive. Everything was being razed to the ground. The metal structures that were once symbols of happiness and joy were now being engulfed in flames. That which wasn’t even truly alive to begin with would be dead.

 “…”

 She took a step back, the smile disappearing from her face, before turning in the other direction. Her entire body froze at the small body frame in front of her. Any trace of the excitement she was feeling was abruptly replaced with concern and shock.

 “H-Haruto?” Ima gasped at the little boy in the foreground of all the wreckage. “…What are you doing here? It’s not safe.”

 What was he doing here? How did he get here? Why wasn’t he with Kaito, somewhere safe?

How unfortunate.

Haruto, only fifteen years of age, was facing yet another dimensional war. Apparently, the hardships faced when no more than a toddler weren’t enough for humanity’s cruel tastes. These days, everyone would have to burn. They would have to hunted like dogs and suffer for merely existing. Ironic, right? Some years ago, in a past only so distant, Haruto wished for this. No, he had yearned for it.

The fires that left Heartland—his father’s life work—in shambles, the frightened cries of the masses as they struggled and fled, the universal suffrage, the aching pain and exhaustion that weighed everyone down..

When his eyes were still dead, nothing more beautiful could’ve been craved for. Deliverance had come all to late, though. When his altered ego’s dreams were met, he was faced with hell. His nightmares had achieved reality once more.

Again, his smile was lost. Curled lips of joy were surrendered to the fusion dimension, the raiders of his of his ruined homelands. In glee’s absence, there was only anger and woe. Fury would be inflicted upon the invaders, and tears shed for the fallen. Ergo, the glower Ima would be met with from the figure emerging from the flames. Haruto’s visage would be set similarly to that of his sibling, yellow hues piercing and gleaming with detest. If someone had come to tarnish what little remained of his home, then he planned to end them. What he expected, however, was not what he found. Rather, Ima would be the source of destruction.

                                               .....Ima...?          

How long had it been since he seen her? The woman he had proclaimed to be his.. No. Optics having gone wide, Haruto steeled his features over. Sister!? If Ima was apart of the devastation of Heartland, then she hardly deserved to be viewed as a sister. Much less a human! Now, she was no more than an enemy. Tone tensed and hands balled into fists, Haruto glaring as the fires cackled licked whatever they reached to ash.

“..Really now?” He queried aloud, harnessing all his willpower not to scream. That resolve faded quickly, nonetheless. “I figured that much out when, apparently, you helped in ruining my home and leaving me orphaned! You.. Your kind deserves to burn.” 

//I’ve only disappeared from this account for a few days, but considering how I’ve hardly ever abandoned my Haruto for this long, this seems a good a time as any to make a quick announcement. 

This blog will be going on an indefinite hiatus! 

I’ve been caught up in a new fandom, deciding to make forensicenthusiast my main muse for now on. I’m sure I’ll be deleting tameroflight later this evening, on account of my thinning interest in Kaito, yet Haruto will remain since there’s various storylines I’m still interested in experimenting with. 

If you’re interested in writing with me outside the cutesy baby character, then feel free to follow my Ema. If not, then it has been a fun run while it lasted. Realizing he didn’t have Kaito near was upsetting for Haruto, despite his frequent games of “sneak.” During those times, he only wished to interact with the outside world when feeling constricted. Leaving Heartland entirely was never intended--not to explore an unfaliar landscape as Miami. “I don’t know where Nii-san or anyone is.”
