while it lasted

and now it is something to learn from

it does not capture the process

does not fully communicate the inspiration that went into it

the experiences

the conversations, the failures, the laughter, the pain

the little moments of “wow, nice”

and perhaps this log does not have to capture the experiences that led up to it (nor could it) to serve its purpose

to remind myself, and maybe, hopefully, others

to take the time to pause

to appreciate

the beauty that exists in this world and throughout time

i missed those moments when you let me just take in the way your contours of water shift like electric currents.
