please for the love of god read the rest it’s hilarious

to be clear, i am referring to any type of sewing which you can do confidently enough to perform basic repair or construction of a garment. if you can comfortably sew a patch onto a pair of pants, or put together a simple item using fabric and thread, that is enough for this poll. i'm curious how many people have basic needle skills, as someone who was never taught but whose life has been completely changed by learning!
