I never thought my whole world would be snatched away from me at the drop of a hat. Matthew, I never heard you make a sound maybe you did. I know you were so tiny. All I wanted to do was touch you. Hayden, you sounded like a kitten crying. It was the sweetest thing I had ever heard. I just wanted to hold you guys.

They rushed your little body’s to NICU. The doctor made sure I was fine. I kept myself asking questions. Where are they? Are they ok? They are early? Mattie didn’t cry? Tell me something?!

I soon was told that Matthew didn’t make it, and it didn’t look like Hayden would make it either. I wanted to see them I begged. Two nurses went against the doctor and took me down the hall. I got to see Matthew first. They were getting ready to move him. I asked to hold him and for them to wait and they said it would happen right away.

I saw Hayden one doctor was looking at my baby boy. He told me that he wouldn’t be here much longer. I asked if I could do anything to fix it, even though I knew I couldn’t.

I saw him struggling to breathe. His heart beat was so slow. I knew it when I looked at him that he would soon be back with Matthew. I was crying my heart out. I wanted to go too.

I held what wasn’t connected to tubes, and he went within a matter of 30 minutes. I cried and cried. I miss my babies. I never got a chance to watch y’all grow up. Happy birthday.

I never thought I would meet someone that would be my heart. I never thought anything would happen between the two of us. It’s like the two of us were drawn together. I thought that person loved me too. I had always thought because I was broken that I had to grab on to whatever I could and hope that whatever that person did didn’t kill me, because I didn’t want to be alone. No one wants a broken person. I have let people do absolutely horrible things to me because I felt like I had no choice. Now I don’t know what to do I am really thinking there is nothing but evil in this world. I don’t think I’ll ever find anyone again.
