When I first sat down to write this challenge I started out with zero money, but I found living outside and essentially being homeless too triggering to enjoy. So, scrapped that idea and went with a VERY BASIC startup.

Still working on the actual money allotment, but this was the most basic home I could come up with that also didn't feel neglectful. I think it was about $3000. Pretty sure the regulations will be:

bed

toilet

shower/tub

fridge

stove

1 counter (or they can't cook)

1 light

4 walls

roof

door

mailbox

trash

This is the challenge I am tweaking. The basic idea is this...

IRL you are struggling with the way you grew up. You're learning all the ways your childhood years were a bust and how the adults in your life failed you. Maybe it was your parents, maybe it was your teachers... it doesn't matter. You were a child who needed nurturing and it didn't happen.

Ever think to yourself, "God, I could've raised myself better"? This is your chance to play this out.

You model Sim after your teen self, or use trait generators to create a random one.

You start with a small sum of money to create the very basics you need to live in a Sim world of your choice

You receive $100 a week as an allowance using money cheats. You do not pay bills. You may get a part-time job but you can't let your grades slip. You can be creative to earn money (grow/sell plants, provide pet/child care, upgrade broken appliances and sell parts, etc...)

Earn points for fulfilling whims, engaging in self-care activities, and engaging in real-life journaling exercises
