Sherlock is 100% the kind of lee who just has high pitched giggles and the goofiest ass grin but doesn’t really scream in laughter. He’ll only shriek in hysterics if he’s high and his underarms are being attacked - poor detective can’t stand that.
Sherlock also pretends to be beyond tickling cause he’s beyond everything else human. Like he is such a cocky bastard and if he accidentally tickles John he will raise an eyebrow and be like - “That tickles? Well surely your far too old for that childish nonsense doctor Watson?”
Sherlock is such a lovable asshole I can’t - 😩
Also, I think John might be one of us. Like, maybe when he starts getting really close with Sherlock he feels comfortable asking for tickles and telling the taller man he likes it. Of course Sherlock bullies him about this ruthlessly - but it’s all in good fun, and the man gets all the tickles he needs.
I also reckon that, when John was once really pissed off at Sherlock, he posted on his blog that the detective had ticklish knees (his most embarrassing tickle spot)
I can just imagine Sherlock stalking menacingly into Watson’s room, (or their shared room), holding up his phone and going - “So what’s this?”
John, having no chance f defending himself, gets tickled silly.
