She strikes a particularly attractive pose.

She leans down towards you and flirtatiously gestures to her whole body.

*decides to give her a gentle kiss on the cheek*

*she knows she shouldn't be here. But something was calling her back. Wings held high and armor shifting, she walks along, towards the area where she had met the mysterious machine.*

"..Machine. Are you here?"

*a teen had no business in hell, but a part of her wanted someone to talk to, other than the stuck-up and bossy members of the Council. And she still had questions for the machine.*

Sonnet's voice echoes through the winding corridors of Hell. Then she hears a metallic slam.

"Apologies, angel, I simply could not resist dramatically appearing from behind again~"

The machine from before is leaning against the wall behind her, its posture confident and dramatic, as usual, studying the sharp finger "nails" on its left hand.

"What heavenly duties do you this time pursue in our non-euclidean eldritch prison?"

"I... came here on personal matters, machine. That is none of your business"

*she coughs into her hand, regaining her stance after she was startled*

It approaches again, spinning the revolver as a stim, then stops just short of you. It leans forward with one wrist on its hip and the other hand placed under its head palm-downward.

"I wish to finish my question from last time. How much blood do you need to survive on a daily basis? Is it even something you need daily, or is it something you need to hunt for every now and then, stored somewhere, and used only when needed?"

"The efficacy of blood is quick to diminish with time. I must feed every day. Only fresh blood can sustain those of my kind."

It gives its answers so easily. Surely it knows that you could use this information against it, does it not? Why does it so easily part with valuable knowledge to the enemy?

"It varies on the individual level, and even day-to-day: depending on how much energy each individual machine outputs and how efficiently they utilize blood without waste. However, on average, I myself require the equivalent of seventy lesser husks."

It looks directly in your eyes.

"It is a simple calculus that I kill far more lives to stave my hunger than I save by refusing to die."

It tilts its head, not averting its gaze.

"But it was your god that wanted them to suffer for eternity, regardless. What difference does it make that now they scream from within my metal veins?"

It reassumes its more confident posture and expression, the temporarily grave moment passing.

"Hm, very interesting." *she nods, armor shifting and squeaking as she does so.*

"Are you able to fly with those wings? Or are they merely for decoration? Or perhaps a deeper purpose, like helping you glide through the air if you jump off a wall or a ledge..."

It stands up straight to watch you hover over the ground and giggles.

"If only I could rise to your challenge. But my, such grand wings you possess! Quite impressive for a fledgling angel. You must be the child of someone important~"

It squats, extending its own wings, and jumps off the ground, thrusting them downwards to generate more upward force. There is a small shockwave from the sheer power of its wings, cascading harsh wind all around it. Using this technique, it is able to jump far higher than any machine or mortal you have ever seen; aside from the blue one, who was able to gain even more height with less effort. It doesn't even try to flap them and stay in the air, however. It instead thrusts them upwards and places its feet together, slamming itself down into the ground and generating a far more powerful shockwave that could fling practically any being into the sky. It lands with both knees bent back into a squat, then stands up straight again.

"Why, thank you!!!"

*she was not expecting the comment of her being the child of someone important..*

"I suppose you could say that..." *she mutters*

*she watches as it performs it's trick, quite impressed. She claps slowly, landing on the ground as she does so. There's.. quite a few stray feathers of hers.*

"Thank you, thank you!" It says dramatically, bowing with both arms to one side.

"And of course you may," it kindly responds to your request. It jumps up again, sending another wave of wind, though this one not as extreme. This time, the jump feels more casual, though it still gains more height than most machines could.

This time, it angles its wings about 45 degrees and allows itself to fall, only thrusting its wings back after the apex has already passed. The thrust stops all downward momentum and pushes it forward at incredible speed, though its momentum is quickly halted and less wind is generated. It lands normally this time instead of slamming into the ground like it did before, generating no noticeable wind.

"There is one last use to my wings," it says after landing. "One entirely unrelated to movement this time."

It reaches toward one glowing wing, and if you look closely, you can almost make out a symbol in the shape of... a gun.

When the automaton removes its hand from the wing, it is now holding some kind of machine gun, but in one hand.

She extends the Feedbacker, which is currently replacing her old arm. Then she places it on her hip and poses seductively, blowing a kiss.

As for myself, things have been… a little dull… King Minos doesn’t visit the Lust Layer anymore… the pure audacity of that man! At least I have you to talk to however~

She tilts her head and listens as you speak about Minos, nodding dramatically, yet affectionately in agreement about Minos's pure temerity!

When you blow the kiss, V2 pretends like she's catching it, and places it affectionately on the side of her head, closing her eyes and enjoying it.

"Oh, of course! I am well aware that I'm the most interesting person you know~"

She gestures aureately towards you, every movement flamboyant, exaggerated, and extravagant.

Rests her hand on her “face” while staring intently at you, immersed in every action

"Such a wonderful idea, sweetheart~! Of course I will have to accept!" She bows dramatically. "We could have a lovely chat over a meal, and I would never say no to spending more time with you, darling~"

She gets up and offers her left hand

As you offer your hand, she takes it with her right. Though her fingers are quite sharp, her hold is delicate, gracefully avoiding causing you any complications or discomfort.

"Lead the way, dearest~"

She makes a winking motion and giggles to herself

She leans in close to you and lightly rests the tip of her finger on your clavicle, careful not to cause any harm.

"As it does you too, I'm sure~"

She leans back to her previous stance, regaining her submissive demeanor.

She wryly pokes your left shoulder while “smiling”

"I'm sure V1 knows I'm dangerous better than anyone."

She switches to the Knuckleblaster and cocks it, simply because it's what she's used to.

"I'm not surprised they have to stare," she replies coyly. "Sometimes I have to do the same~"

They reach a wall, which you had likely just teleported through on the way here. V2 simply punches it with her left arm, creating a large hole in the brick. Then she cocks her fist again.

She leans forward and examines the wall, impressed with its destruction

She flips a coin with her other hand to the right, then shoots it with the same hand, causing it to deflect and hit the forehead of a Filth that was about to lunge at you from the left. It dies instantly, and she does all this while looking directly into your upper lights with her hand under your chin.

Extends her cables that are sparking with excitement

She steps away and giggles, holding her Knuckleblaster just below her optic and spinning her red revolver in her other hand. At this point, you're used to her jarring, drastic mood shifts.

[Almost done with fixing her elbow joint, a metallic clank resounded just outside the room, along with hurried footsteps.]

[She decided to check it out. After all, what else did she have to do?]

[Upon opening the door, there was a pile of mechanical spare parts on the floor. Nothing else. V2's optic flicked around to find the person behind this... "gift".]

[And there they were, hiding behind the curve of the stairs leading down. With their head peeking out from the railings, Lucifer stared as V2 stared back in silence.]

V2 leans her upper body to one side, putting one hand on her hip, and squints her optic lens.

"Angel..?"

Ah, greetings! Hello, V2! I, uh... I did not mean to bother you, I just uhm.....

I see that your arm is all better now! Great news indeed! I hope you are as well.

You see, I was just passing by when I saw you fight, I must say it was very impressive... Where did you learn that? If I may ask, of course.

She un-squints her lens and places the tip of her fingers on her chest, her elbow sticking out. She arches her back, and the pose takes on a dramatic flair.

"I sought a purpose unto myself, one far greater than the engineers of mortals. But the skill remains."

She relaxes into a new, more casually seductive pose.

"My purpose is myself. I seek the simple pleasures of life. Drama, hobbies, fashion, flirtation, narcissism: they all serve as a means to my end~"

She suddenly drops her pose entirely, fully widens her optic, and looks directly into your eyes intimidatingly. This would cause any meek being to freeze and cower in fear, but one confident enough could stay relaxed and meet her gaze.

"And my greatest, most favorite pleasure is killing."

She breaks eye contact and relaxes again, regaining her more confident pose. She begins spinning a red revolver on her finger as a kind of stim.

"What do you seek from me, heavenly being~?"

[Lucifer leaned in to listen with great interest, tail swaying curiously. They liked talkative people, especially when V2 explained the thoughts on her own purpose.]

Killing for machines is a necessity, yet you... derive pleasure from it. Hmm..

[Upon the question, they snapped out of their thoughts, head perking up. The threatening display flying over their head, given the topic at hand.]

I suppose company is the only thing, other than peace, that I am in search of at all times. Old habits die hard, it seems...

"Then company is what you have gained, angel," V2 responds, bending over and carefully gathering the parts into a pile so she can scoop them into a container later.

I cannot hide my envy for such a way of thinking. Perhaps it'd be easier for me to stop worrying if my life was not so certain...

[Unfortunate. They end up faltering, just barely catching onto a stone ledge and not crashing down entirely.]

[Dangling from the edge, the fallen angel makes a quick swing, enough to leap away from the bloodthirsty machine.]

[They tumble on the grass, momentarily looking back to see V2 preparing her next move.]

[To their utter surprise, prying V2's arms away from a point-blank shot is nigh on impossible. Her joints locked in place move just slightly, gun fired at Lucifer’s side.]

[Heaving with shaky breaths, Lucifer glares right into the yellow light of V2's optic. It's anything but warm. Both the silence and the tight space between them feels not only oppressing, but also provoking. It was as though Lucifer was saying "Do it. I dare you." with their unyielding, stern gaze.]

"Oh? What's that glare for? Was this not in good fun~?"

V2 reaches her right hand, (which is no longer holding a weapon,) up to your cheek, and she softly brushes it with the back of her finger.

"You remember the rules of the game, right hon~?" She asks sweetly, clearly relishing in the power she holds over you.

[A gasp breaks its way out at the sharp sting of parting skin, the feeling somewhat grounding Lucifer back to reality.]

[They mutter under their breath, though it does little to hide just how much they've enjoyed the whole chase and ...this... between the two of them.]

[With a soft gesture, V2's hand gets dragged down with one of theirs. Craning their head, Lucy looks at her with a smiling eye, almost cheeky.]

Go on, take more. You've earned it.

"No, hon~" She says sweetly, threateningly bringing the bulky Knuckleblaster closer to your head, and gently yet firmly moving your hand back down to your side with her other arm. You are so easily overpowered by her. "I'm going to take as much as I like from wherever I like, and you're not going to interfere~"

She giggles as she traces the line from before, painfully deepening the cut.

"I was only going slowly and shallowly to savor every moment~"

She traces the same cut a third time, blood now practically pouring off your face, onto her hand, and onto the wings on the side of your head. She delicately, affectionately rubs your cheek, smearing the blood.

"I saw you were about to lean in earlier, darling. What were you expecting~?"

[The deepened wound bled profusely, their wings twitching at first. Dizziness started making a comeback.]

Ah, what a shame-...

[Without the additional support, Lucifer’s head rested on its side, against the artifical grass, their whole wing getting painted with red. Like V2's plating, they thought, red wasn't such a bad colour.]

[Sometime after their improvised landing, Lucifer kept drifting off, zoning out, unable to focus, like they weren't in a life-threatening situation. They've must have hit their head too hard. Surely.]

[It was the pressure on their throat that brought them back to the present. Stifling a cough, both their eye and wings fluttered, not only from her touch but also her question. Their wings unfolded slightly in an attempt to hide their face.]

"Stop moving, dear, or this will only hurt more~"

She presses deeply into your neck, but carefully avoids all the vital areas, and does not puncture your trachea or esophagus. She slowly cuts, wanting to enjoy the delicious taste of your helpless agony for as long as she possibly can. She hasn't even consumed a single drop of blood yet. Wasn't that what all this was for?

"As in, if you continue to move, I'll make it hurt more~"

Her posture becomes dramatic and self-confident.

"But I love myself, so I'm not complaining~"

She leans forward towards you, curious, with one wrist on her hip.

"So what kind of me are you?"
