life is better with art

A commission I took this spring; my prompt was “Centaurs Grazing”

“You can’t fall in love with me.“

If you don’t know me, I’ve been working on a comic book for about 7 years now. Mainly hasn’t happened because as soon as I get started, my art improves to the point where the original starter pages aren’t as good anymore and I have to start over. 

But I do always enjoy a good concept piece so here is a character of mine, from my comic book Ancient Lore.

Been a fan of Cloud x Aerith since 2005. 

Recently I took a commission for my friend Zoe. Her sister passed away a few weeks after my dad passed away too, so we bonded over our grief.

For Zoe’s family, the death came short of them being able to have a family picture together, so Zoe commissioned a family portrait to make up for the loss. 

Recently inspired by TR/ST’s new song, Poorly Coward!

Combined my love of 19th century French portraiture and synthpop music to make this portrait of Robert Alfons.

Saw BadFlower in concert on 2.25.19, Josh Katz fell off an amp and I had to immortalize the moment!

My most recent artwork, titled “Be Still, My Heart”, featuring Lore, a character in my upcoming graphic novel. I figure if I’m wasting time with personal projects, I might as well make it into concept art!

Inspired by the single, Unbleached by TR/ST

My personalized coloring book pages were such a hit at our wedding, that it became the main activity that people participated in! It made it such a special day.
