Il y a toujours quelque chose d'absent qui me tourmente
Camille Claudel (1864-1943)
Those who have no hope for a future life are already dead for the present one.
Johann Wolfgang von GoetheÂ
There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve : the fear of failure.
Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist.

People say I have stone heart. Yeah that is true, my heart is stone, but really rare stone, very unique stone, very fragile stone and very expensive stoneâŠ

We think caged birds sing, when indeed they cry.

The Road Not Taken - Robert Frost
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same, And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and Iâ I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.
Hope by Emily Brontë
Hope was but a timid friend; She sat without the grated den, Watching how my fate would tend, Even as selfish-hearted men. She was cruel in her fear; Through the bars, one dreary day, I looked out to see her there, And she turned her face away! Like a false guard, false watch keeping, Still, in strife, she whispered peace; She would sing while I was weeping; If I listened, she would cease. False she was, and unrelenting; When my last joys strewed the ground, Even Sorrow saw, repenting, Those sad relics scattered round; Hope, whose whisper would have given Balm to all my frenzied pain, Stretched her wings, and soared to heaven, Went, and ne'er returned again!

Skrik (Le cri), 1893, Edvard Munch, carton (91 cm x 73 cm), National Gallery, Oslo
I want to live...
[¯ENG] Greedy of life, he tries to express his feelings. He shouts , shouts and shouts, but no one hears him. Nothing. Not a sound. Nothing. Deadpanned by  despair, anguish and loneliness. He becomes a prisoner of his condition. The unfortunate tangle and prevails in the whirlwind of his torments. Body and soul separated, he is now only a meerschaum. Becoming its own ghostly nightmare: he no longer exists.
â Painting picture by picture, I followed the impressions my eye took in at heightened moments. I painted only memories, adding nothing, no details that I did not see. Hence the simplicity of the paintings, their emptiness.â Â -Â Edvard Munch
Alberto Giacometti - Man Walking, 1960
Impression Soleil levant, Monet
