My mum sometimes calls my periods Eve's Curse because 1)religious family, Eve was the first woman (besides their punishments it is said the first sinner was her and so she had an extra...little pain for all the people with vaginas) 2)I was almost named Eve and 3)I'm the only person with a period in my household.
As soon as her words slipped out of my mum's mouth today I realized something: WHO WAS THE FRICKING SNAKE WHO TEMPTED EVE?
