You are Professor Dr. Delacroix, and after leaving your hometown in search of better job opportunities and the space necessary to grow as a person and individual, you finally decided to settle down on San Chamberlain, a city full of thriving big shots, brimming with culture, and the thing that matters most to you: new opportunities.
When you are hired to teach at De Fiore University, it feels like a dream come true; you have a nice, fulfilling job teaching bright young minds, and lovely coworkers who bring you into the fold and welcome you with open arms, even making you question whether something else could develop between you and one of them.
It feels like a dream come true. Until it doesn't anymore.
It all starts on the fateful day you discover that your coworkers are the physical manifestations of the Seven Heavenly Virtues. It felt unbelievable, but what they reveal next is truly world-shattering: you are their missing piece, Generosity the Selfless, and you must help them end a millennium old fight against the Seven Deadly Sins.
As you grow into your role as a Virtue, you must fight against evil and temptation, all while juggling your duties as a professor. Your students and the future of the world depend upon you. Will you rise to the occasion, defeating the darkness that slowly gnaws the place you call home?

MIKHAIL "MISHA" ALEXEYEV (m) is Patience the Serene and a professor of Criminal Law at De Fiore University.
As his Virtue suggests, Misha is calm, quiet, and tranquil, much like the unperturbed waters of a lake.
Always one to choose their words carefully, Misha is empathetic and believes in the best of people. But do not make the mistake of confusing his pacifist nature as an inability to cause harm.
TSUKIHANA SAKAI (f) is Humility the Modest and a professor of Art History at De Fiore University.
As her Virtue suggests, Tsukihana is humble, amenable, and has a respectful approach when dealing with all things.
Some may believe the core of who she is makes her meek or submissive but Tsukihana always speaks her truth, no matter how ugly it is and no matter how stubborn she has to be in order to make her feelings heard.
LOGAN ADAIR (m) is Temperance the Disciplined and a professor of Psychology at De Fiore University.
Jaded and weary, Logan believes duty is everything and must come above everything else: his desire, his passions, and his own sense of self.
In order to hide his own gentleness, Logan makes of his fierceness a wall between him and the outside world.
BRIAR FIORE (f) is Chastity the Pure and a professor of Roman Literature at De Fiore University, she is also a descendant of the college's founder.
Briar is honest to a fault and a thrill-seeker at heart, always looking for trouble to dive in head first. Nevertheless, she is the type to wear her heart on her sleeve and always fight for what is just.
Believed to have been conceived immaculately, Briar struggles with the expectations of her family and her own identity and wants.
KENDALL LEE (m/f) is Diligence the Zealous and a professor of Genetics at De Fiore University.
As their Virtue suggests, Kendall's diligent nature makes them an overeager, passionate, oftentimes overbearing individual, quite pushy on their intentions to prove themself.
Intense as they are, no one can deny Kendall is sincere, devoted, and loves with their whole heart on the line.
VIORICA VAN CAIRO (m/f) is Kindness the Gentle and a professor of Medieval History at De Fiore University.
Viorica is a deeply sensitive individual who clearly still struggles with their role in the war. It's not that Viorica doesn't want to defeat the Seven Sins, but they always hesitate when the time of delivering the killing blow arrives.
Delicate, benevolent, some may even say docile, Viorica wants nothing more than to strip away their sadness and break free from their restraints.

SLATER GUNNER (m) is Pride the Arrogant and the direct counterpart of Tsukihana Sakai.
CONAN REYEZ (m) is Greed the Insatiable and your direct counterpart, Generosity the Selfless.
RAKAM STARK (f) is Gluttony the Indulgent and the direct counterpart of Logan Adair.
MONTAGUE RIZZO (nb) is Lust the Impure and the direct counterpart of Briar Fiore.
NANA ANU (nb) is Sloth the Apathetic and the direct counterpart of Kendall Lee.
CAIA FERRERO (f) is Envy the Bitter and the direct counterpart of Viorica van Cairo.
Inspired by the poem Psychomachia of Prudentius and other interactive fiction novels.
I feel it is important to mention that those small descriptions are much more like small tidbits about the characters than a concrete definition of who they truly are. In no way do I mean to make them a copy paste of their Virtues/Sins in the sense that Patience will never be angry, or Greed will only be driven by shallow objectives. I prefer to leave more in-depth things for the actual story, although questions (asked in a respectable manner) are always welcome.
