When you're angry, where do you feel it in your body? Is your face hot, your heart pounding, your jaw clenched?

Sadness. Is it heavy? Is it in your chest, your head?

I find that most of my emotions are either in my chest or my stomach.

And out of every single emotion I've ever felt, the one I find most intolerable is jealousy. That is an emotion I struggle to handle. I can handle deep, overwhelming sadness. I can handle anger. I can handle embarrassment.

Jealousy feels like fire in my stomach. Like a knife. It actually makes me feel physically ill, and it makes me feel like I'm crawling out of my skin.

Jealousy comes from insecurity. I think that's why it hits hardest. It brings forth the thing you have very deep inside, the thing that is kept hidden and protected because it is so sensitive.

Every emotion has a purpose, even this.
