I used to render in ball point pen all the time in high school (mid ninties), but without the pencil setup. One day in english class I completed a couple character doodles with curly hair, and a fully rendered image of a wolf (on lined paper) with a giant multi color pen. (the large ones that look like a dildo.. lol) then there was the time I made a blue pencil sketch of a character of mine that still to this day no one online had ever seen her, and i left it incomplete and light at some points, and I pecked the pencil hard and gently into the paper to leave marks that looked like eraser shavings. The drawing is long gone, but I still love what I achieved with it. It fooled people into actually trying to wipe the shavings off. One of my prouder artistic moments.
