I’m rlly starting to think perhaps WR was supposed to be like “imagine doing UT’s GE with the intention to bring back Asriel, but in the process having to abuse & sacrifice toriel & asgore, ttp where you start questioning is it worth it or even for a good cause”

But sadly since the game’s switched to an episodic release, this experience may forever be lost to us since we all discovered & played WR for the thrilling creepypasta & horror experience in ch2 with the expectation of being the villain since the start, and consequently only started speculating the route’s agenda as we go on.

Though I also kinda think this concern is unnecessary, cuz the very fact that Toby decided to switch the game to an episodic release is probably because the different player mentality & expectation wouldn’t make a huge difference in experiencing this game to him. Like UT GE definitely shouldn’t be played before completing PE for spoilers but to him, DR could get a pass.
