After researching trending news I found some heartbreaking news that two teen girls were killed in a hit and run on their e-bikes. This happened yesterday at around 5:30pm in Cranford NJ. Some misinformation is going around that people are assuming this was an accident or that the girls were at fault from using e-bikes. But that is not the case. The man who hit them was actually an alleged stalker to the girls and even had a restraining order on one of them. While that is yet to be confirmed this is just what the neighbors who knew the victims have been saying. This is now looking more like a homicide than just a vehicular manslaughter. While a lot has yet to come out surrounding this case it definitely was not at the fault of the two teen girls or their e-bikes like some initially thought.

For my viral image I chose this iconic meme of the girl smiling as the house in the background burns to the ground. This Disaster Girl is actually Zoë Roth who was 4 years old when this photo was taken in 2005. The image was taken at Mebane, N.C. during a controlled fire used for fire fighter training. The image didn't become viral until 2008. Luckily for the Roths they were able to copyright her image and made quite a bit of money off of royalties.

While scrolling twitter (x) I came across a post I didn't believe to be true at first. The artist D4vd who I knew from his song "Romantic Homicide" is being accused of murder after police found a body in a car registered under his name.
