I've been working on a fantasy story for the past several months and while its title isn't 100% decided yet I'll be posting stuff about it under the tag #alta (this is an intro post I may change in the future). Also names might changes, especially MC Luna's since that's only her nickname.

Premise:

A poisonous purple fog has been approaching the Eastern coast of the continent for several days now, directly threatening the very technologically advanced and averse to magic country of N., Princess Luna's country. Along with the best scientists of N., she tries to uncover the secrets of this phenomenon. But their time is limited: they only have one or two weeks before the whole country gets swallowed by the fog. Seeing how reluctant the Empress of N. is at the idea of allying with magic users, Mia -- a young mage who has just graduated, and niece of the President of A. -- tries talking to Luna, hoping to convince her and her mother to accept magical help.
