Shiba and the mashiro flashback got me tearing up this chapter

Yeah I'm not really sure about this chapter (I don't like it)

I was so excited to learn about chihiro's mom but now I'm kinda disappointed with this story line they gave her... I absolutely love that she's got prophecy abilities and that she's important to the plot but the way her personality is portrayed ticked me off I guess? And it's so frustrating how SA is a classic horror plot for female characters all the time.. damn this is not what I hoped for at all :(

I LOVE nippon sangoku (manga and anime) it's so different and unique but It has a serious case of telling not showing because why do so many things in the story happen offscreen... sometimes events are built up so well then they're resolved without showing the readers the actual scenes, we're just told this and that happened.. don't get me wrong I like the fast pacing I think it's so refreshing but offscreening what I actually wanna see and giving me all those time skips when I actually wanted to experience the story with Aoteru and Tsune and witness the different interactions between the different characters is so frustrating to me :(

I want Sojo to be back alive more than I want Samura back, there's just so much to explore about his character.. everything about him seemed so interesting I really want to see him again

That death hug reminded me of Gojo's hug to Megkuna...

WAIT what if Chihiro's mom was one of the enchanted blades bearers?? We know there was a girl among them so what if it's her... MAYBE she's gonna show up in the next chapters.. I've been obsessed over mama Chihiro watch her never get mentioned 😭
